Adjustment and installation
- Check and adjust the hinge side of the jamb according to the level first.
- Fix the hinge side jamb to the wall with the help of EZ hangers, “A” screws ( 1 5/8”) (not included) and shims (not included) if needed.
- Unscrew the screws of the strike plate side (handle side) of the jamb.
- Align the door slab within door jamb (frame) minding the gaps between the door slab and the door jamb.
- Hinge side of the jamb is already fixed to the wall, so the strike plate side of the jamb and the header jamb need to be adjusted.
- Please note, metal EZ Hangers have the ability to be bent. In some installation cases you would need to bend them during the door installation to be as close as possible to the best installation result.
- Fix the strike plate side (handle side) of the jamb and the header jamb to the wall with the help of EZ Hangers, “A” screws ( 1 5/8”) (not included) and shims (not included) if needed.
