SEEK MEDICAL ADVICE
If you’re injured, get assessed by a medical professional before applying tape. -
TEST FOR IRRITATION
Our tape is latex-free and uses a skin-friendly acrylic glue. However, your skin is a complex organ so we would always recommend applying a small test patch before first use. If irritation occurs please remove immediately -
CHOOSE THE BEST APPLICATION
This guide contains our 3 most popular taping applications using Fixation Tape. For more, scan the QR code on the reverse. -
HOW LONG WILL IT LAST?
You should expect it to withstand the heat of competition. It’s sweat-proof but not waterproof. We recommend you reapply every 24hrs, and remove post- game.
OUR TOP TAPING TIPS
GET THIS RIGHT
- Clean and dry the area before application. Moisturisers and oils are a tapes’ worst nightmare.
- Apply Pre-Tape Spray, then Fixation Tape, then Zinc Oxide Tape. All 3 together is a winning combo for a long-lasting application.
- Have a play. Practise your application and don’t be afraid to adjust it to suit your needs.
- Give yourself time. Apply the tape 15–30 mins before the action starts, or before you apply any chalk.

HOW TO PEEL FIXATION TAPE
FIXATION TAPE is very easy to use but does need some pre-taping preparation and practice. We recommend that you cut any strips of FIXATION TAPE in advance.
- Holding either side of the FIXATION TAPE, pull away lightly to open a small gap down the centre of the backing paper.
- Holding one side at the top of the strip, peel the other side of the backing paper down and away from you.
- Switch hands, and peel away the other side of the backing paper, keeping the roll tight as you do.
WHEN NOT TO USE FIXATION TAPE
- Never apply to broken or fragile skin.
- Never tape an area that is unstable or severely swollen.
- Don’t tape without a full, professional injury diagnosis.
WARNING – These instructions are not meant to replace professional medical advice. Always seek the advice of your doctor or qualified sports practitioner. Do not use if you are being treated for cancer, have poor circulation, fragile skin, open wounds or are diabetic. Do not use on the abdomen if pregnant. Keep out of reach of children. Discontinue use if skin becomes irritated. Warranties and remedies are limited to replacement cost. Date of issue 01/01/24.

TAPING GUIDES
KNEE
- Apply a strip of FIXATION TAPE equal distance above and below the knee (approx. 5-10cm)
- Place a further 1-2 strips of FIXATION tape vertically (depending on the size of the knee), covering the MCL.
- Place strips of Zinc Oxide Tape in an X pattern, sticking the tape to the FIXATION TAPE rather than the skin.
- Repeat your strips of FIXATION TAPE to hold everything in place.
SHOULDER
- Place 1-2 strips of FIXATION tape, starting as far down the chest as possible. Come over the shoulder and finish on the upper back.
- Place another strip of FIXATION TAPE on the midbicep, covering 3/4 of the width of the upper arm.
- Apply vertical strips of Zinc Oxide Tape. The more strips you apply, the greater lift you will give to the shoulder.
- Re-apply your FIXATION TAPE to lock the Zinc Oxide Tape in place.
DRESSING RETENTION
- Wash the wound, and cover with a non-adhesive dressing pad.
- Apply additional padding (if needed) around the area of the wound to provide protection and cushioning.
- Apply 1-2 strips of FIXATION TAPE directly over the dressing, covering it completely.
- Ensure there is a minimum of 1cm of tape stuck directly to the skin around the edge of the dressing.
