Product Usage Instructions

Temperature Mode Setup:

  1. To use the DT20 for temperature control, press the MODE button
    until the display reads “Measured Temperature” at the top.

  2. Press the SET button to set the Start and Stop temperatures.
    Use the UP or DOWN buttons to adjust the temperature. Hold the
    button for quicker adjustment.

  3. Press the MODE button to complete setup. The LED will indicate
    power supply status. Cooling or heating mode is activated based on
    temperature settings.

Repeat Cycle Timer Setup:

  1. Press the MODE button until the display shows “Cycle Timer F01”
    at the top.

  2. Set the ON and OFF times using the SET button. Adjust times
    with the UP or DOWN buttons. Hold for quicker adjustment.

  3. Press and hold the MODE button for 5 seconds to start the
    timer. Repeat to stop the timer. This cycle repeats
    continuously.

Countdown Timer Mode Setup:

  1. Press the MODE button until the display shows F02, F03, or F04
    at the top.

  2. Set the ON and OFF times using the SET button. Adjust times
    with the UP or DOWN buttons. Hold for quicker adjustment.

  3. Press and hold the MODE button for 5 seconds to start the
    timer. Repeat to stop the timer.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Q: How do I know if the device is receiving power?

A: The LED on the front of DT20 will light up when power is
being supplied to the connected device.

Q: How does the DT20 switch between heating and cooling

modes?

A: If Start/ON temperature is higher than Stop/OFF temperature,
cooling mode is activated. If Stop/OFF temperature is higher,
heating mode is activated.

Temperature Mode Setup
(Used to automate a device based on temperature)
1. To use the DT20 for temperature control, press the MODE bu on repeatedly un l the display reads Measured Temperature at the top like in the picture to the right. The top display is the current air temperature in the room.
2. To set the Start and Stop temperatures, press the SET bu on un l the desired se ng is flashing. Then raise or lower the temperature by pressing the UP or DOWN bu on. You can hold the bu on down for quicker adjustment.
3. Press the MODE bu on when done with setup. The LED on the front will light up when power is being supplied to the device you have connected to the DT20. When Start/ON is set to a higher temperature than Stop/OFF, cooling mode is ac vated. When the OFF temperature is higher, hea ng mode is ac vated. In the example on the display above, the DT20 will cut a heater on at any temperature below 75.2 and cut the heater off when the temperature rises above 89.6.
Repeat Cycle Timer Setup
(Used to automate a device based repea ng med periods)
1. To use the DT20 for cycle ming, press the MODE bu on repeatedly un l the display reads Cycle Timer F01 at the top like in the picture.
2. To set the ON and OFF mes, press the SET bu on un l the desired se ng is flashing. Then increase or decrease the me by pressing the UP or DOWN bu on. You can hold the bu on down for quicker adjustment.
3. Press and hold the MODE bu on for 5 seconds when done with setup to start mer. Repeat this step to stop mer. The ON se ng shows how long power will be supplied to the device you have connected to the DT20. The OFF se ng shows how long the device will be off in between ON mes. In the example on the display to the right, power will be supplied for 12 minutes. Then it will cut the devise off for 12 hours and repeat this cycle con nuously.
Countdown Timer Mode Setup
(Used to automate a device based on a single med period)
1. To use the DT20 as a countdown mer, press the MODE bu on repeatedly un l the display shows F02, F03, or F04 at the top like in the picture. All 3 modes perform either a single ON or OFF period or combina on of an ON and OFF period performed once.
2. To set the ON and OFF mes, press the SET bu on un l the desired se ng is flashing. Then increase or decrease the me by pressing the UP or DOWN bu on. You can hold the bu on down for quicker adjustment.
3. Press and hold the MODE bu on for 5 seconds when done with setup to start mer. Repeat this step to stop mer.
