Q: How do I change the detection method?
A: To switch between vibration and sound alarm detection methods, refer to the user manual for specific instructions on changing settings.
Q: What should I do if the metal detector does not power on?
A: Check the battery installation to ensure it is correctly inserted with the right polarity. If the issue persists, try replacing the battery with a new one.
Q: Can the metal detector be used in extreme temperatures?
A: The metal detector is designed to operate within a temperature range of -20°C to 60°C. Avoid exposing it to temperatures outside this range to prevent damage.

The metal detector should be kept away from the metal. Open the battery cover, insert the battery into the detector (the negative pole of the battery is connected to the big circular hole in the detector, and the positive pole of the battery is connected to the small circular hole in the detector), and then tighten the battery cover clockwise.
Turn on the power switch, and the buzzer will sound once. At the same time, the LED light will be on, indicating successful startup.
The front detection area (side or top) of the detector will be close to the metal, and the buzzer will continuously sound and the motor will vibrate. The louder the buzzer sounds and the stronger the motor vibration, the closer the metal is to the detector.

Note

The LED light is on when you power on the detector, the detector needs to be away from the metal, and when you hear the beep of the device after 2 seconds. After the self-test is completed, the device can be used.
If the detector does not stop beeping, it may be the cause of low battery power. When the low battery alert function is turned on, it will always alarm. Replace the battery and test again.
If the battery is connected in reverse, the detector cannot be turned on. Battery model: 6F22, battery polarity: the beggar circle at the top is negative, and the small circle is positive.
