Important Installation Notes
- Carefully follow these instructions to avoid equipment damage or health risks.
Initial Flushing:
- Install and Flush the Lifespring whole house pre-filter for approx 2 mins. This prevents carbon fines from the carbon filter from clogging the Ultra Filter
- Install and flush the Ultra filter and Alka spring for about 5 mins
- Flush any filter for 2 minutes if it hasn’t been used for 2+ days.
- If installing as pre-filters to an ionizer or hydrogen machine, make sure to flush before connecting to the machine
- Always inspect for leaks after installation.
System Specs
- Working Pressure: 15 – 55 PSI (use a pressure valve for pressures over 55PSI).
- Working Temperature: 5 – 40°C. Only use cold/cool water through the system. Hot water compromises filtration efficiency.
Installation Instructions
- Tap Installation: Decide where you want your tap on the sink and drill a hole of the right size there.
- Connecting to Water Supply: Attach the T-line diverter valve to your cold water pipe.
Managing Water Pressure
- If your water pressure is above 55PSI, fit a pressure reducing valve before the filters.
Setting Up Filters
- Follow the diagram provided to correctly install the filters in sequence.
System Specs:
- Pressure: Ideal range is 15 – 60 PSI. Install a pressure reducing valve for higher pressures.
- Temperature: Keep the system operating between 5 – 40°C.
Mounting the system
- Use the included wall brackets to securely mount the system and cartridges inside a cupboard.
Water Flow
- Set the water flow to about 2 liters per minute.
