Handlebar Functions

The handlebar features a power button, turn signal buttons (left and right), throttle, and horn buttons. Each button serves a specific function for controlling the scooter.

Function:  Power on, power off, activate NFC,  mode switch, headlight control, Bluetooth activation, speed unit switch, pedestrian mode switch, turn signal control, hazard light control, horn activation.

Dashboard Info

The dashboard provides essential information about the scooter’s status and settings.     1. Warning Indicates that the scooter has detected an error. The error code will display on the dashboard. See the troubleshooting page for possible causes and solutions.

  6. Dynamic Mode: Speed limit: 25 km/h (15.5mph) Switching method: Activate feature in the app to set speed range and acceleration. Press the power button to switch modes.
  7. Speedometer: Displays the current speed of the scooter.
  8. Bluetooth: Indicates that the scooter is connected to the app.
  9. Pedestrian Mode Speed limit : 6 km/h Switching method: Short press the Power Button five times to switch to pedestrian mode
  10. Battery Indicator: Displays the remaining battery power in the battery bar
  11. Dashboard Light: Color changes based on the scooter’s status.

Ambient Light Functions

Riding lights

When riding the scooter, the ambient light length changes with the adjustment of the throttle. It can also be switched to different modes in the NIU app.

Charging tips

While charging, you can view the battery level on the indicator.

Scooter status

The scooter status will be shown in the light, such as when the turn signals are being turned on.
