Tools And Materials Needed
- 50/50 Mix isopropyl alcohol/water
- Scratch resistant cloth
- 1500 watt hair dryer*(If necessary)(DO NOT use heat gun)
Installation Preparation
- Apply alcohol and water cleaning mixture to a scratch resistant cloth. Do not apply cleaning mixture directly to vehicle surfaces.
- Clean installation surface area thoroughly and wipe dry immediately with a new clean cloth.
- Ensure parts AND vehicle surface are between 70°F and 110°F at time of installation. *If necessary a hair dryer may be used to reach desired temperature.
Installation
- Before peeling adhesive liner, dry fit parts on installation surface to check for proper fit and placement.
- Remove the adhesive liner from the middle cut out as shown in Figure 1 and align around light as shown in Figure 2. This will help you align the product accurately.
- Gradually remove the adhesive liner while working outward as shown in Figure 3. Use a plastic scraper to help apply the product smoothly and avoid trapping any air bubbles.
- Make any necessary adjustments and press the product firmly against the surface to ensure a secure bond.Using these steps will help ensure a smooth and secure installation.
