Sonicsmooth Pro+
WARNING: Sonicsmooth is not intended to be used over active acne, open wounds,
irritations, sunburns, psoriasis or recently treated areas with lasers
or radiation. KEEP CHARGING DOCK AWAY FROM WATER AT ALL TIMES
CHARGING
- Attach the included USB Charging Cable into a USB port and connect to a 110v wall adapter. Place Sonicsmooth in the Charging Cradle with the Power Button facing The Michael Todd Beauty logo on the Charging Cradle and the Power Button should be facing the same direction.
- Before your first use, charge the device for 12 Sonicsmooth will run for 3 continuous hours before needing a charge. After initial charge allow 8-10 hours for subsequent charges. DO NOT overcharge which can shorten battery life. Disconnect the USB Cord from the power source when not charging. DO NOT charge Sonicsmooth for more than 24continuous hours.

ATTACHING & REMOVING SAFETY TIPS IS EASY
Always handle the device OFF when not in use and use the cartridge case to
attach and remove a new safety tip. To attach a new safety tip, slide the
device handle along the tracks of a new safety tip until it “clicks” into
place. To remove the safety tip from the handle, insert the
tip into the cartridge case until you hear a “click” and slide the device away
from the box. Never use your hands or fingers to remove the tip. You may use
the edge of a table to help slide the safety tip off if needed. Safety Tips
are nickel free.
CAUTION: Safety Tips are sharp, handle with care.
Sonicsmooth Pro+ STEP BY STEP
- Prep the skin by thoroughly cleansingthe treatment area, preferably withan oil-free cleanser. Rinse clean andpat dry.
- Select the desired speed setting; low,medium or high speed by pressingthe power button. Pressing thepower button a 4th time will shut thedevice off. Safety Tips are single use,dispose after each use.
- Position the Sonicsmooth at a 45°angle against the skin using lightpressure. Allow the sonic technologyto do the work and hold skin taut with free hand to prevent injury

4. Starting at the top of your face near the forehead hairline, begin making
short feathery strokes following the direction of the hair growth. You may
gently glideover skin in a treatment area 1-3 times using the safety tip at a
45°angle. We DO NOT recommendusing Sonicsmooth over raisedimperfections
(including acne) theeyelid, directly on the nose or on the lips.
After treatment, you may use serums or moisturizers.
DO NOT use scrubs, exfoliators or peels

Use Sonicsmooth following the direction of the hair growth, never againstit.
Downward strokesare recommended whendermaplaning. Hold the skintaut with the free hand forbest results. The skin mayappear pink or slightly redafter treatment, this willdisappear after a coupleof hours. For this reason,we recommend using

The best time to Sonicsmooth. For best results, aestheticiansrecommend dermaplaning when you aren’t applying SPF or makeupdirectly after. This allows freshly exfoliated skin to receive maximumbenefits of treatment. Do not apply any alcohol or witch hazel products after dermaplaning

Sonicsmooth and the sun. Sonic dermaplaning is a rejuvenating exfoliating treatment. Take precaution with sun exposure before and after treatments.

Use a fresh Safety Tip every time. This ensures a hygienic routine and prevents bacteria from spreading. DO NOT use any Safety
Tip that appears damaged or broken.
- Frequency of treatments. Peach fuzz, dead skin and debrisaccumulate every 7-10 days. Spacing your Sonicsmoothtreatments one week apart is ideal to maintain a smooth radiantcomplexion.
- Never handle the safety tip with your hands or fingers. Alwaysuse the case to attach or remove the safety tip, please refer to the instructions on page 1.

Turn your Sonicsmooth into an at-home microdermabrasion service simply by replacing the dermaplaning safety blades with the Microsmooth tips.

To attach a Microsmooth tip, take out of thetray, slide onto the device until it “clicks” intoplace.

Prep the skin by cleansing the treatment area, with an oil-free cleanser. Rinse clean and pat dry.

- Sanitize your Sonicsmooth + Microsmooth after each This ensures the best possible treatment results – we suggest using rubbing alcohol to clean the treatment tip.

Avoid use in treatment areas where any of the following is present; any area that was recently treated with chemical peels or lasers, over raised areas of skin such as lesions, moles, acne, and skin Avoid treatment areas where cancer is present or suspected to be present. DO NOT use over compromised skin.Compromised skin may include but is not limited to sunburns, areas of healing, blisters, Rosacea, Psoriasis, abrasions, cuts and acne.
- Sonicsmooth is specifically designed for use on the face and DO NOT use over raised skin imperfections, in the eye socket area, over the nose or lips.
- After an exfoliation treatment it is normal to feel a slight tingling sensation. This sensation usually subsides after an hour or If you feel any burning, irritation or uncomfortable sensation, discontinue use and consult a physician.
- If you have any medical concerns about using Sonicsmooth, please consult your dermatologist before use.
