  • Never leave your child unattended. Your child’s safety is your responsibility.
  • Child car seat must be fitted according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Incorrect installation could be dangerous.
  • Installation should only be performed by a competent adult.
  • Always ensure that new or occasional users have read and understood the instructions.
  • Keep this instruction manual with the child car seat.
  • Do not fit the child car seat on a side or rear-facing vehicle seat.
  • Ensure the passenger seat is locked in the upright position before installing the child car seat.
  • Do not use the child car seat at home; it is designed for use in the car.
  • Do not leave loose objects on the back seat that may be dangerous during sudden braking.
  • Make sure rigid items and plastic parts do not become trapped in doors or movable seat units.
  • Always use the child safety lock system if available, to make it impossible for the child to open the car doors from inside.
  • Allow the child a break during long car journeys.
  • Ensure that the child car seat is always secured to the car seat, even when not in use.
  • Do not use the child car seat without its original cover.
  • Stop the car at regular intervals to check the position of the child car seat and the seat belt.
  • In the event of an emergency, it is crucial to be able to release the child quickly, as defined by British Standards. The seat buckle cannot be fully tamper-proof, so actively discourage your child from playing with or using the buckle.
  • If traveling with passengers using both front and rear passenger seats, place lighter occupants in the rear and heavier occupants in the front.
  • If you have no option but to place your child car seat on a rear passenger seat next to side airbags:
  • Consult your vehicle manufacturer for side airbag details; it may not be safe.
  • Ensure your child does not lean into the area immediately around the airbag.
  • Do not place anything under the child car seat (e.g., a towel or cushion) as it could affect the seat’s performance in an accident.
  • Avoid winter clothing bundling, as bulky clothing can lead to incorrect harness tightening. In an accident, the child can slip out of the extra padding. Let the car warm up or cool down before placing your child in there. If your child is cold, place a blanket over the top of the harness.
  • In the event of an emergency, it is important to be able to release the child quickly. Discourage your child from playing with or using the buckle.
  • Ensure that the lap section of the seat belt is worn low down, engaging the pelvis firmly.
  • Make sure all passengers in the vehicle have their seat belts fastened.
  • Never use a seat belt routing scheme different from the instructions.
  • Lap and diagonal seat belt (and harness if fitted) must be used at all times when your child is in the child car seat.
  • Make sure there are no twists in the seat belt.
  • Don’t leave your child in the child car seat parked in direct sunlight or on a hot day.
  • Avoid prolonged direct sunlight exposure to the child car seat. Cover the child car seat with a sheet when not in use to reduce exposure.
  • Ensure the child car seat is as close as possible to the backrest of the car seat.
  • Remove the headrest of the passenger seat if it obstructs the proper installation.
  • The manufacturer only guarantees this product then the original owner uses it.
  • You MUST replace the child car seat and your vehicles seat belts if they become badly worn or damaged.
  • You MUST replace or send the car seat to the manufacturer for inspection (together with an incident report) if the car seat has been involved in an accident as it may have unseen damage and may not protect your child as well as it should.

Ensure your child knows the seat is there to keep them safe.

The Child car seat is secured to the vehicle with the two rear ISOFIX connectors.

Securing your child in the Car Seat and Installing the Child Car Seat

  1. Place your child in the car seat and ensure they are sitting well back.

  2. Thread the vehicle’s seat belt through the belt guide under the headrest and the belt guide under the armrest next to the seat belt buckle.
Ensure that no part of the seat belt has become twisted or trapped and that the car seat’s fabric cover is not impending the movement or correct fitting of the seat belt.

  3. Ensure the diagonal belt lies gently on the child’s shoulder, and the lap belt is worn over the hips. Tighten the diagonal section of the seat belt by pulling it upwards until there is no slack and the belt holds the child firmly in place.

  4. To take the child out of the seat, unfasten the seat belt and undo the shoulder belt guide.

Safest seat to fit your child car seat to:

  • If your center rear passenger seat has a three-point seat belt system, use it.
  • If the center rear passenger seat lacks a three-point seat belt system, use the rear left or rear right passenger seat.
  • The front passenger seat can only be used if it DOES NOT have an airbag and IS fitted with a three-point seat belt.

EXTREME HAZARD: NEVER USE IN ANY PASSENGER SEATS EQUIPPED WITH AIRBAGS (SRS)
Consult the car manufacturer for suitability, as children’s bodies cannot withstand the forces exerted by deploying airbags.

Using the ISOFIX System if Your Vehicle Has Additional ISOFIX Anchor

  • If your vehicle has ISOFIX anchor points, ALWAYS use them for a more stable installation.
  • Match the backrest hook to the rear side of the base.
  • Place the car seat in the appropriate position on the vehicle’s seat, facing in the direction of travel.
  • Rotate the adjuster button in anti-dockwise direction, and simultaneously pull the ISOFIX connectors outwards as far as it goes- make sure it cannot be pushed backwards.

Match the ISOFIX connectors to the vehicle’s anchoring point until you hear a ‘click.’ Then rotate the adjuster button in anti-dock wise direction, and simultaneously push the seat against the vehicle to eliminate the gap between car seat and vehicle’s seat.

ATTENTION: ISOFIX connectors are an additional fitting system for securing the car seat and not suitable for securing a child. Child MUST ALWAYS be secured with the car’s three-point safety belt.

Adjusting the Headrest Height

  • Pull upwards on the button behind the headrest to adjust its height.
  • Release the button when the headrest reaches the desired height. You should hear a ‘click’.

To ensure the best protection for your child, the shoulder belt must be guided so that is passes gently over the child’s shoulder. You will need to adjust the position as the child grows.

Removing the Child Car Seat

Pull the grey button backward on the ISOFIX anchors to release the car seat from the vehicle’s ISOFIX anchor points.
Note! If you have difficulty to release the ISOFIX connectors, try to give more force to the car seat against the vehicle’s seat and simultaneously pull the grey button backwards on the ISOFIX connectors to release the car seat. If this does not help- please consult the manufacturer.
