BATTERY NOTICE & DISPOSAL

Electric and electronic products are not allowed to put in household garbage. Please dispose the product at the end of the lifetime according to the actual laws. You as a customer are responsible by law for the return of all used batteries, a disposal over household garbage is forbidden! Batteries containing hazardous substances are marked with the alongside symbols, which point to the prohibition of disposal in household garbage.
Additional notations for the critical heavy metal are Cd=Cadmium, Hg=Quicksilver, Pb=lead {Label is placed on the batteries, for example below the bottom left trash symbols).

  • Based on RoHS labelling the manufacturer confirms, that all limit values were taken care of at the time of manufacturing.

  • Please do not operate the model if you are tired or unwell, have drunk alcohol or taken drugs – this may cause injury to yourself or others.
  • To avoid burns, never touch drive parts and motors during or immediately after use as they can be very hot.
  • Incorrect operation of the transmitter can cause injury to you or others. Be sure to familiarize yourself with the operation before using the model.
  • Check the model and the remote control before use. Check screws to make sure they are tight.
  • When you have finished using the model, always switch off the model first and then the remote control. Otherwise, the model may get out of control.
  • If the model gets out of range, it may get out of control. Please always stay close to the model with the transmitter.

IMPORTANT NOTES

THE POWER SWITCH

  1. Turn on the power switch of the transmitter, the signal indicator of transmitter flashes.
  2. Press the power button of the esc in the car, the indicator light flashes.
  3. When the indicator lights stay on, the connection is established.
  • ATTENTION: Do not operate the throttle trigger or the steering wheel while the remote control is switched on. Do not operate the remote control until the indicator light is permanently staying on.
  • Always switch on the remote control first, then the esc in the car. After playing, always switch off the esc in the vehicle first, then the remote control.
  • If you are with more than one car of the same type, make sure you do the binding separately, as it may happen that one vehicle binds with another remote control or there may be interference.

THE RECEIVER

WARNING! Make sure that all components are connected to the correct terminal. Also make sure that the polarity is correct.
(black/brown = minus, red = plus, white/yellow = signal)

THE GYRO

  1. Gain
    Turn the potentiometer to the left or right to increase or decrease the intensity with which the gyro intervenes from 0 – 100%.

  2. Reverse/Normal Switching
    To change the direction of the gyro, press the “SET” switch for three seconds. The LED changes from red to green or green to red. This means the changeover was successful. (Red LED = normal, green LED = reverse).

  3. EPA (End Point Adjustment)
    Before setting, please make sure the gyro direction is the same as the direction of steering servo.

  • a. Press and hold the “Set” button on Gyro and switch on the esc. Release the “Set” button again. (If you hold the button down for more than five seconds, the gyro will be reset to factory settings*). The red LED flashes as soon as the gyro is in setting mode.
  • b. Now turn the steering wheel to the desired position to the left or right and press the “Set” button briefly to save the position. The green LED flashes.
  • c. Now turn the steering wheel in the other direction to the desired position and press the “Set” button again. Now both LEDs flash for approx. two seconds and then light up permanently. The settings are now saved.
  • Reset to factory setting: Press and hold the “Set” button on gyro and switch on the esc. Press and hold the “Set” button for five seconds until the red and green LEDs flash. The EPA setting is reset to the default value (1100us-1900us).

  • VCC:
    Power supply via battery: Supplies the same voltage as the connected battery. It can be used as a power supply for fans. Please ensure that the voltage of the fan is within the range of the battery used.

  • BVD:
    Receivers with BVD function can be connected directly with an adapter cable, which is equivalent to connecting a battery.

THE REMOTE CONTROL

    If the car does not run straight ahead, it can be adjusted via the steering trim.

  2. TH. TRIM
    Throttle trim
    If the car does not stop when the throttle is in the middle position, this can be adjusted via throttle trim.

Brake: when the car is moving forward, push the throttle forward, the car brakes. To reverse, release the throttle to the neutral position and push it forward again.
When the car is in reverse, there is no brake function. Carefully pull the throttle lever backwards to stop the car.

  1. CH3: Light Control
    Short press the “Fn“-button, to turn on/off the light of the car.

INSTALL TRANSMITTER BATTERIES

Open the battery compartment cover and insert two AA according to the direction shown. Close the battery compartment cover again.

CHARGING BATTERY

If you charge the vehicle battery with a 5V 2A USB mains adapter, the charging time is approx. 240 minutes. During the charging process, the green charging LED flashes. When the charging process is finished, the LED lights up continuously.

INSTALL THE DUST-PROOF COVER

  • Align the three holes of the cover with the bracket and install.

  • Insert the three body clips to lock the cover.

  • Align the four holes of the body with the bracket and install.

  • Insert the four body clips to lock the body.
