SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

CAUTION READ AND FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE OPERATING FAN. DO NOT USE FAN IF ANY PART IS DAMAGED OR MISSING.

Important Instructions:
Use the following precautions to prevent the risk of electric shock:

  • Never plug in or unplug the unit with wet hands or while standing in water. Do not operate the unit in standing water. Never plug in or unplug the unit with wet hands or while standing in water.
  • To avoid risk of injury, do not direct air flow at face or body.
  • To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not use the unit with any solid-state speed control device.
  • Use only with GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupted) protected outlets. Please contact a qualified electrician for installation of a GFCI receptacle if necessary.
  • Do not operate unit with a damaged cord or plug.
  • Unplug the unit from the electrical outlet before servicing or cleaning.
  • Do not run the power cord under carpeting. Do not cover the power cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings.
  • Place the power cord away from traffic area to prevent tripping.
  • Do not allow children to play with or around the unit at any time.
  • Do not move or carry the unit while it is operating.
  • The unit should be supervised when in use at all times.

WARNING

  • Shock Hazzard: Use the fan only in dry environments. This fan is not intended for use in a bathroom, laundry area or similar locations or near sinks, washing machines, swimming pools or other sources of water. Never locate fan where it may fall into a bathtub or other water receptacle. Do not use in damp environments such as flooded basements.
  • Hot Surfaces: Do not touch fan motor when in use. The motor is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
  • Fire Hazzard: Fans have arching or sparkling parts inside. Do not use near combustible materials or flammable gases or sources of heat. Do not use in areas where gasoline, pain or flammable materials are used or stored. To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not insert or allow foreign object to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock, fire or damage the fan.
  • Prevent Electric Shock: This fan has a three prong grounded plug that must be inserted into a matching properly grounded outlet to reduce the risk of electrical shock. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature. Do not use this fan with any solid-state speed control devices.

OPERATION

The air mover is intended to move air and to dry floors, carpets, walls, furniture, etc.

  1. Plug the power cord into a 3 prong GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupted ) protected outlet.
  2. Place the unit on a stable, flat and dry surface.
  3. Adjust the unit angle (0°, 20˚, 45°, 90°).
  4. Turn the unit ‘ON’ and set the desired unit to the desired fan speed (low, medium, high).

DAISY CHAIN OPTION
This unit can be used as ‘Daisy Chain’ when multiple units are required to dry a large surface. Using the dual built in power outlets, you can daisy chain up to 4 units to dry larger areas.
Important Note: The total amperage must be lower than a total of 12A. In the event the unit stops operating when using multiple units, press the RESET button to reset the circuit.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

  1. To keep the air mover, clean, use a damp cloth to wipe the surface of the housing. Never use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  2. Never clean the air mover with water and never immerse the fan or cord in water.
  3. When not in use, unplug and store the air mover in a dry indoor place out of reach of children.
  4. Always disconnect the air mover from its power source before performing any maintenance or cleaning.

TROUBLESHOOTING

SYMPTOM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTIONS
Unit not running No Power. Switch is not on.

Unit fan wheel is jammed. Intake or exhaust blocked.

| Plug in the unit. Check the circuit breaker.

Turn on power switch. Remove any material possibly jamming the fan wheel.

Turn unit off and allow unit to cool and then remove blockage.

Unit Vibrates excessively| Possible accumulation of dirt on the fan blades or fan is not on a flat surface.| Clean unit fan blades. Put fan on a flat surface.

WARRANTY

This warranty applies to repair or replacement of product found to be defective in material or workmanship for one year from the date of the original purchase. This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser. This warranty shall apply only if the fan is used in accordance with the factory provided instructions which accompany it. This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from abuse, misuse, or improper maintenance of damage that is attributable to acts of nature. RS International Canada Inc. (“RSIC”) is not liable for incidental or consequential damages of any nature. Our obligation under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement, free of charge, when delivered to an authorized Royal Sovereign service center, of any defective part(s) thereof, other than parts damaged in transit.

EXCLUSIONS
This warranty excludes and does not cover defects, malfunctions or failures of this product, caused by repairs by unauthorized persons or service centers, mishandling, improper installation, modification or unreasonable use including incorrect voltage, acts of God, or failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance. This warranty is in lieu of any and all expressed warranties. In no event shall RSIC be liable for consequential or incidental damages. This limitation would not apply if you live in a location that does not permit the exclusion of limitation of incidental or consequential damages.
