iMETEO X2 Weather Station with Sensor
Weather station with temperature, humidity measurement function, equipped with
an external wireless measuring sensor.
Notes on recycling

All materials used are environmentally friendly and recyclable.
Please help us to dispose of the packaging in an environmentally friendly
manner. Please contact your retailer or local waste disposal facility for
information on current disposal methods.
This appliance has been designed and manufactured using high-quality materials
and components that are suitable for repeated use. The symbol of the
crossedout wheeled bin indicates-
It indicates that the product is subject to separate collection in accordance
with Directive 2012/19/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council and in
accordance with Directive 2006/66/EC of the European Parliament and of the
Council, and informs that electrical and electronic equipment and batteries
and accumulators, after their useful life, must not be disposed of with other
household waste. The user is obliged to hand it over to a waste electrical and
electronic equipment and batteries and accumulators collection system
operator, including the relevant shop, local collection point or municipal
unit. Waste equipment may have a harmful impact on the environment and human
health due to its potential content of hazardous substances, mixtures and
components. The household plays an important role in contributing to the reuse
and recovery, including recycling, of waste equipment. At this stage,
attitudes are formed that influence the preservation of the common good, which
is a clean environment. Households are also one of the biggest users of small
appliances, and their rational management influences the recovery of secondary
raw materials.
In the event of improper disposal of this product, penalties may be imposed in
accordance with national legislation.
Introduction
Security
Read all safety instructions carefully and keep them for future reference.
Always follow all warnings and instructions in this manual and on the back of
the appliance.
Be careful when using the mains adapter!
– The power supply unit may only be connected to a mains supply of 230 – 240
V~, 50Hz. Never attempt to use the unit for operation at any other voltage.
– The supply cable must not be connected until the installation is right- of-
way complete.
– If the unit’s power cord is damaged or if the unit is otherwise damaged, do
not operate the unit.
– Do not pull on the cable when disconnecting the power supply from the
socket.
– To avoid the risk of fire and electric shock, do not expose the device and
the power supply unit to rain or moisture.
– Do not use the device near baths, swimming pools or water.
– Do not place containers with liquids, such as flower vases, on the unit.
They may fall off and the leaking liquid may cause serious damage or risk of
electric shock.
– Do not open the housing. Otherwise there is a risk of electric shock.
– Never attempt to repair a defective unit yourself. Always contact one of our
customer service centres.
– Do not open the unit under any circumstances – this can only be done by a
specialist.
– Foreign bodies, e.g. needles, coins, etc., must not fall into the unit.
– The appliance is not a toy. Children do not recognise the dangers of using
electrical appliances. Keep the appliance out of the reach of children and
pets.
– Do not crush, throw or shake the device.
– Do not use any heat sources near the station or sensors, which may also heat
them up.
– Please do not use the device if it has fallen into water.
– Please use only a dry cloth for cleaning.
Attention:
– Please do not remove the housing on your own.
– Do not grease / lubricate the unit.
– Do not place the unit on top of other electrical equipment.
– The product is designed for indoor use.
– The station is powered by a 5V AC adapter or LR 03 AAA batteries. The sensor
is powered by LR03 AAA. Please keep batteries (not included) away from heat
sources and open flames.
– Danger of suffocation! Packaging and its parts should not be left to
children. Risk of suffocation due to foil and other packaging materials.
– This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and/or
knowledge, unless they have received supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance from a person responsible for their safety.

Base station
Buttons on the back of the unit: MODE, ALARM, UP, DOWN, WAVE, LIGHT/SNZ.
External sensor
– Transmission frequency: 433.92 MHz. Power: 10dBm.
– The transmission range is up to 60m (200 ft).
– Insert 2 batteries into the transmitter, Ensure correct polarity.
First configuration of the device
a. Switching on the weather station for the first time
– Open the battery cover on the back of the weather station
– Insert two AAA batteries observing the polarity markings
[symbols “+” and ” -“], close the battery cover or connect the 4.5V DC power
supply to the power connector.
– When the batteries are inserted (or the power supply is connected), the
segments of the display will illuminate , the unit will beep and display the
current indoor temperature and humidity readings.
– The weather station will start synchronisation with the z- interior sensor.
This process will take a maximum of 3 minutes and will be indicated by a
flashing antenna symbol on the external sensor display screen.
– Then, open the battery cover in the outdoor sensor, and insert two AAA
batteries observing the polarity markings, close the battery compartment.
b. DCF radio signal reception
– The device will start automatically picking up the DCF signal when it
connects to the external sensor. The radio mast icon will flash (DCF signal
icon).
– Each day at 1:00 / 2:00 / 3:00 a.m., the unit automatically synchronises the
time settings according to the received DCF signal, thus correcting any
deviation from the correct time indication. If synchronisation attempts fail
(the antenna mast symbol disappears from the display), the appliance makes
another attempt at full time. The synchronisation procedure is then repeated
up to 5 times.
– To manually start synchronisation with DCF time, press the Wave button. If
the unit does not receive a radio signal within 7 minutes, the search will end
(the radio mast icon will disappear).
c. Additional information
– A flashing radio mast symbol indicates that a DCF signal search has started.
– A permanently displayed radio mast icon indicates that the signal DCF was
received successfully.
– It is recommended that the product is placed at least 2.5 metres away from
any sources of potential interference such as televisions, computer monitors
or power supplies.
– Signal reception is weaker in rooms with concrete walls (e.g. basements) and
in offices. In this case, the station should be placed near a window.
– During reception of the DCF signal, only the Light button is active, the
other buttons are inactive. If you wish to use other functions, press the Wave
button to interrupt reception of the DCF radio signal.
c. Manual setting of time, date, language.
– Press and hold the MODE button for 2 seconds to enter the setting mode, the
year digits will start flashing on the display. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to
set the correct year.
– Press the MODE button to confirm the setting, the month digits will flash on
the display. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to set the correct month.
– Press the MODE button to confirm the setting, the day digits will start
flashing on the display. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to set the correct day.
– Press the MODE button to confirm the setting, the Month and Day will start
flashing on the display. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to set the display order
Month/Day or Day/Month.
– Press the MODE button to confirm the setting, the weekday language selection
will start flashing on the display. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to set the
language of the days of the week. Available languages: EN (English), GE
(German),IT (Italian), FR (French), SP (Spanish), DU (Dutch) and DA (Danish).
– Press the MODE button to confirm the setting, the time zone symbol will
flash on the display. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to set the time zone
correctly (-12 to +12).
– Press the MODE button (B1) to confirm the setting, the 12/24Hr symbol will
flash on the display, use the UP and DOWN to set the 12 or 24 hour mode.
– Press the MODE button to confirm the setting, the time digits will start
flashing on the display. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to set the time
correctly.
– Press the MODE button (B1) to confirm the setting, the minutes will start to
flash on the display. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to set the minutes
correctly.
– Press the MODE button (B1) to confirm the setting and complete the
configuration, the unit will return to normal light mode. Additional
information
– If no settings have been made within 20 seconds, the device will
automatically return to normal display mode.
– When making a selection, holding the UP and DOWN buttons longer will change
the parameters more quickly.
Setting alarms
– Press the MODE button briefly to display the alarm time, press the MODE
button again, the station returns to displaying the current time.
– Press and hold the ALARM button for 3 seconds , the alarm hour digits will
start to flash on the display. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to set the alarm
time.
– Press the ALARM button to confirm the setting, the digits of the alarm
minutes will start flashing on the display. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to set
the alarm minutes.
– Press the ALARM button to confirm the setting, the minutes will start to
flash on the display for the snooze duration setting.
– Press the ALARM button to confirm the settings and exit the setting mode.
Additional information
– A single press on the ALARM button activates the alarm (a chime icon appears
next to the alarm time). Po- Pressing the ALARM button again deactivates the
alarm.
Alarm deactivation
– During the alarm, press any button except SNOOZE/LIGHT (available on the
back of the station) or LIGHT (available on the front) to switch off the
alarm.
There is no need to re-activate the alarm, it will automatically sound at the
same time the next day.
Additional information
– If the alarm is not switched off by pressing any button, the alarm will be
automatically switched off after one minute. In this case, the alarm will also
be repeated automatically after 24 hours.
– During the duration of the alarm (time: 1 minute), the sound signal changes
in volume.
Snooze function
– While the alarm is in progress, please press the LIGHT button (available on
the front of the station) or the SNZ/LIGHT button on the back of the unit. The
alarm will resume after 10 minutes (unless the snooze time has been changed in
the alarm settings).
RF data transmission
– The weather station will automatically start receiving temperature and
humidity data, from an external sensor, when a battery is inserted or when a
5V AC power supply is connected.
– The outdoor sensor automatically transmits temperature and humidity data to
the weather station when the batteries are inserted.
– A station can be connected to one external chunnel at a time.
– If the weather station is not receiving data from the external sensor (the
“- – -” icon will appear on the display).
– If the weather station does not receive a transmission from the remote
sensor, press and hold the DOWN button for 3 seconds to receive the
transmission manually. The station will start searching for a signal from the
external sensor (RF icon will start flashing).
Additional information
If the temperature indication is below the range, the LL symbol will be
displayed. If the temperature indication is above the range, the HH symbol
will be displayed.
Weather forecast function
The weather forecast is calculated on the basis of humidity and temperature
data and may deviate from the actual weather conditions, e.g. if the station
is placed in a central heating room or the humidity and temperature record
differs significantly from the actual natural state.
When following the weather forecast, both the forecast from the local weather
station and this device should be taken into account. If there are any
discrepancies between the forecasts, the forecast from the local weather
station should be used.
Screen backlighting
– If the product is battery powered, press the SNOOZE/LIGHT or LIGHT button. The backlight will wake up for 8 sec.
