-
Step 1
Choose which length the FMRS needs to be. -
Step 2 (fig: 5)
Connect all the lenght profiles by using profile coupler set: RIPFZK10. Use two bolt sets M10 x 65 on each profile.
Choose your nuts depending on the use, permanent -
(option 1) or temporary
-
(option 2). Tighten the self-locking nuts in such a way that three threads of the bolt are visible from the nut.
-
Step 3 (fig: 6)
Adjust the the set-screws (see page 11, part indentification) to expand profile coupler set: RIPFZK10. This removes backlash and gives the system more rigidity.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS HANGERS
-
Step 1
Choose which size hanger you want to use. -
Step 2
Decide where on the length profile you want to assemble the hanger.
WARNING
Always assemble the hanger between two length profiles. (fig: 07)
WARNING
Always use the Freedom safety set (provided) to secure your load with a secondary safety device e.g. a safety cable. -
Step 3

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS NUTPLATE SET
-
Step 1 (fig: 07)
The nut plate set is used to connect a clamp or coupler directly to the length profile. In case of assembling a “Single rigger” connect two Nutplate sets, at the top and bottom of the profile. When assembling a “Down rigger”, connect the Nut plate set at the top of the profiles.
Choose your nuts depending on the use, permanent (option 1) or temporary (option 2). Tighten the self-locking nuts in such a way that three threads of the bolt are visible from the nut. -
Step 2 (fig: 08)
Connect the clamp or coupler (not included) to the nut plate set, make sure a clamp or coupler is used with the ap-propriate Safety factor for the intended use. Tighten with a torque wrench. -
Step 3 (fig: 08)
Connect a Safety set (provided with all
Freedom nutplate sets) at the top by using a bolt.
WARNING
Always use the Freedom safety set (provided ) to secure your load and secure the connection between the FMRS and the supporting structure with a secondary safety device e.g. a safety cable. -
Step 4
Check if all fixing components are tightened
correctly before applying the load. -
Step 5

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS DROP ARM SET
-
Step 1
Choose which length the Drop arm needs to be. If you want to use the basic Drop Arm, between 572 and 872 mm (fig: 09), continue with Step 2. If you need to expand the Drop arm using the length profiles (fig: 11) and Coupler set RIPFZK10, please follow the assembly instructions in chapter 5.1. -
Step 2 (fig: 09)
Step 2: Slide the top part into the bottom part to the desired height. Secure the sides together with the screw set provided with the bottom side. -
Step 3 (fig: 10)
Connect the clamp or coupler (not included) to the nut plate set, tighten with a torque setting of 25Nm. -
Step 4 (fig: 11)
Use the safety eyes 1 in the Drop Arm to secure your load.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS FLOOR RACK
WARNING
- Do not use the Freedom Floor Rack outside.
- Make sure no horizontal forces, like wind, are acting on the system.
- Step 1 (fig: 12)
Before assembling the Floor rack, it’s important to know which type of fixture you will be hanging in the system.
CAUTION
Choose how you want to position (symmetrically or asymmetrically) the Freedom profile in the base.
Make sure the point of gravity of the applied load is in the centre of the Freedom base.
NOTICE
When selecting a base for your Floor rack, you have two choices: the support
base
or the flexible base. The flexible base allows you to fold down the Freedom
profiles, making storage quick and easy. With the support base, the entire
construction must be disassembled for storage since the profiles can’t be
folded. Note that the two bases are not compatible with each other due to
their design differences.
-
Step 2 (fig: 13)
Assemble the hangers on to the length profiles, please follow the assembly instructions in chapter 5.2.
CAUTION
Always use a minimum of 2 hangers in a Floor rack. -
Step 3 (fig: 13)
Connect the length profiles on to the support or flexible base. Tighten the self-locking nuts in such a way that three threads of the bolt are visible from the nut.
DISASSEMBLY INSRUCTIONS
Follow chapter 5, 5.1 and 5.2 in reverse for disassembly of the FMRS.
NOTICE
When using the flexible base, you can easily store your Floor rack by simply
removing the top screw from the base and folding down the Freedom profiles
while they remain attached with the bottom screw.
STORAGE
- The FMRS must be stored in a dry, non-aggressive environment.
- Make sure the parts cannot bend.
- Lay down flat for storage or transport. Only store or transport upright when using an appropriate storage frame / rack / flight case.
