Use a stud finder to ensure that the mounting location avoids all electrical,
plumbing or gasoline. utilities before drilling.

Properly level your RV.
At the wheel, measure 90-100cm from the ground for Pod mounting. Mark 2 locations on the wall with a marker or grease pencil. This is your Pod mounting line. Install the quantity of Pods you want along this line. NOTE: The Hooks can be mounted at various heights.
NOTE: If you are uncomfortable with this installation or have questions concerning your RV specifications please contact your local RV Dealer. -
Using a straight edge or chalk line, mark a Pod mounting line. Using the provided dimensions, mark the first Pod location.Punch the four starter holes with the centre punch.
NOTE: Pod spacing should be determined by accessory.
CAUTION: Be aware of all exterior obstructions, like: heater vent, wheel well, etc. prior to mounting Pods. -
CAUTION: BE CAREFUL TO JUST DRILL INTO THE OUTER SECTION OF THE WALL! Drill the 13mm deep pilot holes with diameter 2mm. Drill the large horizontal holes with diameter 10mm.
TIP: We recommend applying masking tape to the drill bits to prevent drilling too deep. -
Prepare mounting area by lightly sanding the fiberglass between the drilled holes, as shown. Clean the surface of the wall.

Apply a thin coat onto the inside area of the backing plate. Spread with plastic knife to cover evenly.

Insert backing plate into the holes. If necessary, light tap the backing plate with a rubber mallet to ensure that the plate is flush against the RV wall. Wipe off any excess adhesive with a paper towel.

Reinforce plate with the two small screws.

Affix Pod Assembly onto the backing plate using the large bolts after Pod adhesive has cured.
CAUTION: Do not mount any accessory onto the newly installed Pod. The adhesive must cure for 24-48 hours.

When using Thule Pods and Accessories, the user must understand the precautions. Please review the instructions and warranty information carefully. Proper assembly and installation are the end user’s responsibility and beyond Thule’s control.

Make sure all knobs, bolts, screws, straps, and locks are firmly attached, tightened, and locked before every trip.
Knobs, blots, screws, straps and locks must be periodically inspected for signs of wear, corrosion, and fatigue.
Check your load at stops during the trip to insure continued fastening security. -
Remove your Thule accessories when they are not in use and before moving or operating the vehicle.

When installing or attaching Thule accessories, be aware of existing heat sources, gas lines, water lines, electrical lines, and other potential hazards installed by the manufacturer.

Do not use Thule mounting points and accessories for purposes other than those for which they were designed. Do not exceed their carrying capacity. Failure to follow these guidelines or the product’s instructions will void the warranty.
