We congratulate you on the purchase of your new product. You have chosen a high quality product. Familiarize yourself with the product before using it for the first time. In addition, please carefully refer to the operating instructions and the safety advice below. Only use the product as instructed and only for the indicated field of application. Keep these instructions in a safe place. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation with it.

This product is not intended for commercial use. This product is manufactured for private residential use.

  • Ensure that all parts are undamaged and have been assembled appropriately. Risk of injury exists if assembled incorrectly. Damaged parts can affect safety and function.
  • Do not leave children unattended. The product is not a climbing frame or toy. Make sure that nobody climbs or leans on the product, particularly  children. The product could become unbalanced and tip over. This may result in injury and damage.

Never place the product near an open fire or radiant heaters.

In the event of winds, snowfall or torrential rain, close the product.

Assembly and use

CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY!

  • Always make sure the product is secure, upright and stable before assembly and use.
  • Keep your head away from the end of the spokes to avoid injury to eyes.
  • Keep your fingers and hair away from the connecting joints of the spokes, stretchers and poles to avoid trapping, pinching or injuring your fingers or head.

Keep loose clothing away from the connecting joints of the spokes, stretchers and poles.

Assembling the product

  1. Secure the bottom pole [8] using a suitable base [ 10] that weighs min. 25 kg, with a base tube height of 40cm or higher (Fig. E).
    • If anchoring the product directly in the ground (e.g., sand), insert the bottom pole at least 30 cm or more into the ground at a slight angle (Fig. E).
  2. Ensure the locking lever [7] is pulled all the way up (Fig. B).
  3. Insert the upper pole [ 6] about 8.5cm deep into the bottom pole [ 8] (Fig. B).
  4. Push the locking lever [ 7] all the way down until it touches the bottom pole [ 8] (Fig. B)

Opening the product

  1. Locate the slider [4] under the canopy [1] (Fig. A).

Push the slider upwards until the spokes [2] are fully extended (Fig. C) and the catch spring [ 3] noticeably clicks into place (Fig. A).

Adjusting the height

CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY!

  • Keep your fingers away from the joint between the upper and the bottom pole to avoid pinching your fingers.
  1. Locate the locking lever [7] on the bottom pole [ 8] (Fig. A).
  2. With one hand, firmly grip the upper pole [6] and with the other, pull the locking lever all the way up (Fig. B).
  3. Slowly lift or lower the upper pole to the desired height.
  4. Push the locking lever all the way down so it touches the bottom pole to fix the upper pole in position (Fig. B).

Tilting the canopy

CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY!

Keep your fingers away from  the tilt joint to avoid pinching or injuring them

  1. Locate the tilt joint cover [5] on the upper pole [6] and pushthe cover up to uncover the tilt joint [5] (Fig. D).
  2. Firmly grip the upper pole and the tilt joint cover with one hand, and grip the upper pole below the tilt joint with the other, then tilt the canopy [1] towards the side (Fig. D).

Righting the canopy

CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY!

Keep yout fingers away from the tilt joint when using the tilt  joint cover to avoid pinching your fingers.

  1. Firmly grip the upper pole [6] and the tilt joint cover [5] and pull the canopy [1] to the upright position.
  2. Slide the tilt joint cover down  to cover the tilt joint [5] and to secure the canopy in position.
