  • Adult assembly required.
  • Do not make any modifications to the product.
  • The product must be placed on level ground when in use.
  • An unobstructed area with a radius of 3m is needed when setting up the goal.
  • Make sure that all the ground pegs are anchored deep in the ground.
  • Warning. Do not climb onto the product.
  • The product is not a toy or climbing apparatus! Ensure that people, especially children, do not pull themselves up on the product or lean against it. The product may tip over.
  • Check regularly to make sure all screws are tight.
  • Always safeguard the product from falling over, even if it is not currently being used.
  • Choose ground that is as solid and level as possible for erecting the product. Sandy surfaces reduce stability. Make sure that the ground provides a firm hold for the pegs. Otherwise they could come loose and pose a hazard (e.g. tripping or falling on them).
  •  Never hit the ground pegs into the ground with too much force! If necessary, Use a loop to lengthen the guy lines and reposition the ground peg.
  • When using the product, always make sure that all the metal parts are firmly connected and the tubes are not sticking out.
  • When using the product, always make sure that the goal net is not damaged. Users’ heads can get stuck in a damaged goal net.
  • Immediately remove any sharp-edged objects from the area.
  • Warning. Keep away from open fire!
  • Check the product for damage or wear before each use. Use the product only if it is in perfect condition!
  • Defective parts must be replaced in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

Preventing damage to the product!

  • It is possible that the protective coating on the metal tubes may become scratched due to the interlocking of the metal parts, thereby causing rust to develop. Grease these parts slightly therefore, preferably even before use.

  • To enjoy this product for as long as possible, only mount the goal wall (15) when you want to use it.
When you are not using the goal wall, take it down and store it in a dry, temperature-controlled room.

  • Do not expose the goal wall to direct sunlight when it is being stored. If you are not using the football goal for an extended period, in winter for example, we recommend dismantling the product and storing it likewise in a dry and temperature-controlled room.

Erecting the goal wall

Note: because of its size, the product should be assembled by at least two adults.
Setting up the frame (Fig. B)

  1. Connect the goal frame parts together according to their numbering. When connecting the parts, make sure that the safety locking snaps into the openings provided.
  2. Screw the marked parts in place with the enclosed screws and washers as shown.
IMPORTANT! First tighten the screws on top of the goal frame and then tighten the lower screws.
Note: if the locking pins cannot be pressed in to connect the pipe sections together, press the pin’s holding device into the correct position inside the pipe.

Assembling the goal net

(Fig. C)
Hang the goal net (16) over the assembled goal frame and then move it into the correct position.
The little coloured flags mark the upper corner points of the goal.

  1. Attach the goal net to the crossbars (7) + (8) using the preinstalled hook and loop fasteners.
  2. Attach the goal net to the goal frame using the ropes (14). To do this, take note of how the ropes are allocated in Figure C.
  3. Attach the end of a rope to the goal frame.
Then draw the rope through the mesh of the goal net and wind it between the meshes around the goal frame. Finally fasten the end of the rope to the goal frame again.
Note: you can also use the individual enclosed hook and loop fasteners (17) for mounting the goal net.

Securing the goal
After the goal has been set up, it must be secured against falling over.
Use the enclosed ground pegs (12) to do this. Make sure that the pegs are completely pushed into the ground at an angle. Secure five ground pegs at the bottom of the goal posts as shown in Figure C and six pegs to the bottom of the goal wall as shown in Figure D.

Note 1:
Please check the quality of the subsoil. In loose subsoil the ground pegs can easily come loose and then pose a danger for the players.
Note 2:
If you are not using the goal, you must remove the goal wall so that the wind will not damage it.

Maintenance

  • At regular intervals, check the goal in its assembled state for damaged parts, sharp edges and to make sure that the anchors are functioning properly.
  • Make sure that the ground pegs are completely sunk into the ground. This is the only way to prevent the goal from tipping over.
  • Each time you assemble the goal, check the individual parts of the product for damage and sharp edges.
  • Do not use any damaged parts or parts with sharp edges. Replace them immediately with technically flawless parts.
