1. Introduction
This procedure describes how to set the time of the GMSplus realtime clock (RTC) manually.
2. Required Tools
GMSplus
Computer, connected to Recorder Serial Console with ucon

3. Set RTC Time
In the main menu, select [H] to set RTC time

Enter the time in format YYMMDDHHMMSS and confirm with [Enter] The sample below is for a time of 18:45:00 on January 19th of 2024

When entering the time, it may happen that log messages are written into your input.
If this happens, just continue your input and confirm with [Enter]
The input may be split over several lines as below -
GMSplus will adapt its time to the new setting, it will close the old ringbuffer recording (RBF) andopen a new one with the new time setting.
This process may take a few seconds.
4. Check RTC Time
In the main menu, select [G] to see the current RTC time

In the main menu, select [G] to view current RTC time.

Current RTC Local Time is displayed in format YYYY.MM.DD
HH:MM:SS.ms. -
If new time isn’t reflected, repeat from step 3. and check
backup battery voltage. Refer to FAQ’s Maintenance Guideline for more details.
