Connections
When connecting inputs and outputs

  • If connecting to a balanced source, wire signal hot+ to hot+, cold- to cold-, and earth G as normal.
  • If connecting to an unbalanced source, wire signal hot+ to hot+ and cold-.

Dante Network Audio Routing

  1. Download and install Dante Controller from www.audinate.com .
  2. Connect audio devices to the converter and then to a LAN switch.
  3. Open Dante Controller to route the audio signals.

PC Control Software Setup

  1. Use PC control software MusicAllDSP to configure the converter.
  2. Adjust parameters like Line/Mic, gain, and 48V on/off.

Software Support for LAN (UDP) and Serial RS232 Connections
To set up connections

  1. Select Device List – Settings – UDP(LAN) or COM(RS232) OK in the software.
  2. For UDP(LAN) connection, use the RJ45 dual-network port on the rear panel for control.
  3. For COM(RS232) connection, choose the port and baud rate for communication.

Connections

  1. When input is connected to a balanced source , wiring signal hot+, cold- and earth G in normal.
  2. When input is connected to a unbalanced source , wiring signal hot+, cold-.
  3. When output is connected to a balanced device, wiring signal hot+, cold- and earth G in normal.
  4. When output is connected to a unbalanced device, wiring signal hot+, earth G.

Notice: only balanced condenser microphones are supported.

Dante network audio routing

  1. Setup software Dante Controller which can be downloaded from www.audinate.com.
  2. Connect audio devices to this converter, and then connect it to a LAN switch.
  3. Open Dante Controller and route the audio signals.

PC control software
Setup this Dante converter by using PC control software MusicAllDSP, and set parameters like Line/Mic, gain, 48V on/off.

Software support LAN (UDP) and serial RS232 connections
“Device List” – “Settings” – “UDP”(LAN) or “COM”(RS232) – “OK”

  1. UDP(LAN) connection: there is RJ45 dual-network port on rear panel. Except for Dante network audio, it can be used for UDP control. After selecting it and clicking OK, the software will scan and find the Dante network audio convertor.  Remark: The Dante network audio convertor and PC should be in same IP range, like 168.254.xxx.xxx. If not the same, please set it by right clicking as per below picture, which will show Net settings window.
  2. COM(RS232) connection: please select corresponding port and baud rate of COM connection, then the software will scan and find the Dante network audio convertor.
