Battery Information

  • Non-rechargeable batteries must not be recharged. Remove rechargeable batteries before recharging.
  • Do not mix different types of batteries. Do not attempt to open batteries or throw them into the fire. Remove batteries if not using the microphone for a long period.

Usage Steps

  1. Step 1 – Power: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn on or off the transmitter.
  2. Step 2 – Transmitter: Press the power button briefly to turn on; press and hold for 2 seconds to turn off.
  3. Step 3 – Receiver: Insert the receiver into the Jack port of your Canta Tu or speaker/amplifier. Do not cover the microphone head with your hand.

  • Do not spill liquids on the microphone. Do not touch the microphone with your hands or other wet body parts to avoid electrocution. Do not use the microphone outdoors during a thunderstorm.

  • Repair and maintenance – Do not attempt to carry out maintenance work yourself, as removing or opening covers could release dangerous voltages or create other risks. Allow maintenance work to be carried out by qualified technical personnel.

  • Damage requiring maintenance – Contact Customer Service for assistance if the following situations occur.

  • a) if liquids have been spilled or objects have fallen on the device;

  • b) if the product has been exposed to rain or water;
    c) if the product is dropped or damaged;

  • d) if the product performs significantly below standard.

  • Heat – The microphone can be used in locations with an ambient temperature between -10°C and 40°C. You can store the microphone at an ambient temperature of -15°C to + 40°C.

  • Using and storing the microphone outside the recommended temperature limits could result in damage to the microphone, property, animals, or people, or reduce battery life.

Information on Batteries

  • Non-rechargeable batteries must not be recharged. Rechargeable batteries (if removable) must be removed from the product before recharging. Different types of batteries or new and used batteries must not be mixed.
  • Do not try to open the batteries. Do not throw batteries into a fire, they may explode or leak. Remove the batteries from the microphone if you intend to store it or not use it for a long time.

  • A quick guide to using the system
  • Put the headset microphone on, in a way that you feel comfortable with, and adjust the microphone receiver close to your mouth with a right angle. Turn on the power, then adjust the sound volume.
  • UHF pairing randomly: turn on the amplifier and the UHF wireless microphone. Switch on the receiver and insert it into the machine through the jack.
  • The amplifier will automatically pair the wireless UHF microphone, then they will work with each other.

CONTROL FUNCTION

HOW TO PAIR YOUR MICROPHONE

  1. Frequency conversion
    • Automatic Frequency: when the receiver and microphone are turned ON, the reception indicator (red) changes from flashing to green light, and the head-mounted emission indicator (red) lights.
    • It means that the frequency is connected.
    • Manual frequency conversion: when the transmitter is powered on, short press the frequency button to select the channel; Once the frequency changes, the indicator flashes red to green.
    • When the light stays green, it means the channel changes successfully.

How to use multiple UHF devices

  • If you use more than 2 UHF devices within one please follow this step to set up.
  • HOW TO SET UP ON AMPLIFIER/SPEAKER for each device to automatically pair.
  • from the first device, long press the transmitter frequency button for 3 seconds to switch to different frequencies.
  • When the indicator light is flashing, it means the device is pairing.
  • If the device is disturbed or has noise interference at this time, this means that the frequency is already occupied by other devices.
  • Turn on the receiver, and the indicator light of the receiver will flash 3 times and then pair.
  • Then short press the frequency button of the headset again to perform frequency pairing (short press the headset frequency button, the frequency indicator light will flash, and when the indicator light flashes green, it means the pairing is complete).
  • After the pairing is completed, short press the Frequency button of the headset to switch to the next frequency point and complete the re-pairing.
  • Please repeat the steps till all the devices have been successfully paired, and they can be used directly next time.
  • Note: is necessary to follow the steps above to make the headset work.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Indicator lights flash

Match failed. Please turn off the transmitter & receiver, then turn on them simultaneously. The indicator light changes from flashing to green light after a successful match, and then you can use it.

No sound

  1. Match failed. Please check the indicator light, the transmitter and the receiver need to rematch if it keeps flashing.
  2. The battery may be running out of power. Please fully charge before using.
  3. For Canta Tu, speakers, and other PA devices, please use the “MIC” socket not the “AUX” socket, and not suitable for device power that is less than 15W.

Faint voice

  1. The wrong way to wear it. Make sure there is nothing that covers the mic condenser. Keep the mic away from the sound source about 20-25cm.
  2. Check the volume settings. You can increase the volume of the transmitter and the device.
  3. The device power is too low (below 100W), such as the Bluetooth speaker with the AUX input.

Noise

  1. Please check if there is a strong magnetic field sound waves or wireless interference.
  2. The microphone didn’t wear the windscreen foam. Always use the supplied windscreen foam, which can effectively minimize wind noise and vocal plosives.

Howling/whistles

  1. Please check the position of the speaker. Do not point the microphone directly at the speaker.
  2. Try turning off the reverb/echo and turning down the volume.

Intermittent sound

  1. The battery may be running out of power. Please fully charge before using.
  2. Please check if there is strong Wi-Fi signal interference around.

CAUTION

  1. Do not point the microphone directly at the speakers to prevent howling. Use the microphone within narrow spaces, and adjust the volume not too high.
  2. For Canta Tu, speakers, and other PA devices, please use the “MIC” socket not the “AUX” socket. The microphone is not suitable for devices with less than 15W power.
  3. Fully charge the transmitter and receiver before use. Turn off the transmitter and receiver when the microphone is not in use.
  4. When adjusting the VOLUME on the headset, pay attention to balance also the Canta tu Machine volume, since if they are both too loud, there is the risk of whistles.
  5. Adjust the volume from a minimum level slowly, to avoid any voice distortion and noises
  6. This device doesn’t support fast charging, always use adaptors not higher than 5V/1A
  7. This device CTC16110 can work at the same time and place with other 2 identical microphones (till 3 devices work simultaneously).
  • To make them work properly is necessary to follow the frequency setup steps. Each microphone must be settled on a different frequency.
  • The cable has to be checked regularly to verify eventual damages. If it is damaged, please do not use it and replace it.
  • Recharge the product only using the cable included. Only for indoor use, do not expose to water or rain.
