Product Usage Instructions
- Registration on Mobile App:
- Register and sign up in the `RR Signature Smart’ app using Mobile No. or Email ID.
- Configuration via Default Mode (Quick Connect Mode):
- Ensure Local Wi-Fi is ON and the Mobile phone is connected to it.
- Click on the + icon on the home screen to add a device.
- Select device type as ‘Fan’.
- Choose the Smart Fan for pairing.
- Ensure the Fan is ON; the Buzzer will beep 5 times, and the LED will blink GREEN.
- If no beep or blink, switch ON-OFF the fan 5 times or long-press the Blue Button on the remote.
- Confirm buzzer beeps, connect to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, and click ‘Connect’.
- Wait for the Smart Fan to be discovered by the Wi-Fi router.
- Add the Smart Fan to a room in the app.
- Success! Smart Fan added to devices list.
- Steps for Re-configuration:
- The fan will pair with the new Wi-Fi network.
- Connect to Alexa:
- Open the Alexa app.
- Search for the skill ‘RR Signature Smart’ on the Alexa app.
- Enable the skill and enter user credentials.
- Follow on-screen instructions to link the app with Alexa.

‘RR signature smart’ APPS
Configuration of Smart Fan Controller in ‘RR signature smart’ APP
Notes:
- Make sure the ‘RR Signature Smart App is downloaded on the mobile phone.
- QR code is available on the packaging box to download the RR Signature Smart App from the Android Playstore & iOS Appstore.
- Location and other relevant permissions must be granted to the ‘RR Signature Smart’ app
- Only 2.4GHz Wi-Fi is supported. Password for Wi-Fi network should be same. After the Fan is powered ON, the Buzzer on the Fan will beep 5 times & LED will blink GREEN continuously for 3 minutes to indicate user that the Fan is in pairing mode and ready to connect with Wi-Fi.
- After the Fan is powered ON, if the Buzzer on the Fan doesn’t beep 5 times & LED doesn’t blink GREEN, this indicates the FAN is not in pairing mode. In that case, USER can RESET (Pairing mode) the Fan by long pressing (for at least 5-6 seconds) the connectivity icon (Blue color Button) on the remote. If even this doesn’t work, Switch ON-OFF the Main fan switch 5 times. This will bring the device into pairing mode. After this, the Buzzer will beep 5 times & LED on the Smart-Fan Intelligent Controller will start Blinking continuously for 3 minutes.
REGISTRATION ON THE MOBILE APP
- Register & sign up yourself in the ‘RR Signature Smart’ app using Mobile No. OR Email ID
Quick connect Mode
Steps for configuration via Default mode (Quick connect Mode):
- Make Sure the Local Wi-Fi is in ON condition and the Mobile phone is connected to the Local Wi-Fi.
- Click on the + icon in the top right of the home screen, it will move to the next screen of “Add Device”
- On the next screen, select the device type ‘Fan’ option
- It will search the device using ‘Wi-Fi’ and display the Smart Fans (For example Audie Fan) available in the vicinity and the User will select the Fan to initiate the pairing mode.
- Make sure the Fan is ON.
- After being powered ON, the Buzzer will quickly beep 5 times & LED will blink continuously GREEN to indicate user that it is in connection-seeking mode and ready to connect with Wi-Fi. The fan will be in connection seeking mode for 3 minutes.
- Note: If NO Buzzer beep OR NO Green LED Blinks, in that case, USER to Switch ONOFF the fan 5 times OR Long Press of Blue Button on the remote. This will produce 5 times Buzzer Beeps and Green LED will glow for 3 minutes.
- Read the instructions on the next screen and confirm the buzzer beeps fast 5 times.
- Now, make sure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4 Ghz Wi-Fi and provide the Wi-Fi credentials here. Next, click the ‘Connect” button.
- Now wait for some time as the Wi-Fi router is discovering the Smart Fan.
- Once discovered, the app will take you to the next screen where you can add the Smart Fan to a room. In case no room is created, or you want to add Smart Fan to a new room, you can do so here.
- That’s all! You’ve successfully added the Smart Fan to your devices list.
Steps for configuration via ‘Detailed connect Mode’:
- If the USER is not able to pair the Fan and gets an Error – Unable to perform a scan for nearby devices .
- The user gets 2 options –
- Try again with the Default ‘Quick Connect mode’ and Try the Detailed Connect mode’
- If using the Default ‘Quick Connect mode’ the same steps from 2 to 5 will be followed.
- If the User selects Try Detailed Connect mode’ It will go to the Add Device screen Click the Fan Move to the next Screen and then Either Switch ON-OFF the mains 3 times OR Long Press the Blue Button of the Remote, Buzzer beeps 3 times & LED will blink continuously GREEN for 3 minutes to indicate the user that it is in connection seeking mode and ready to connect with Wi-Fi.
- Now, make sure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4 Ghz Wi-Fi and provide the Wi-Fi credentials here. Next, click the ‘Connect” button.
- Wi-Fi router will discover the Smart Fan and display it. Click on the Fan, it will start the process of configuration.
- Pairing Process will be initiated.
- Select the Room for the Fan and Submit
- Next, click the ‘Connect” button.
- Wi-Fi checking & configuration of devices will be in process
- Fan Control Screen/Dashboard will appear once the device gets configured
- That’s all! You’ve successfully added the Smart Fan to your devices list.
Re-configuration
Note: The need for reconfiguration of Smart Fan will arise in the following cases:
- a) If you have changed the Wi-Fi credentials — Wi-Fi name or Wi-Fi password or both
- b) If you have installed a new Wi-Fi router
- c) If your existing Wi-Fi router isn’t working
Steps for re-configuration
- Home Screen — >Click on the device tile in My Devices–» in Fan Control Screen, Click on the Settings -—» Click on Connected to —- > It will search the available Network and Select the Network USER wants to switch
- The fan will pair with the New WiFi network.
CONNECT TO ALEXA
- Download and install the ‘Amazon Alexa’ App from Appstore / Playstore
- Go to the Mobile app ‘Home Screen’
- Select Profile Select Connect with Alexa
- It will open the Alexa app and ask you to fill in the Alexa credentials
- Message will come to ‘Link RR Signature Smart’ with Alexa. Press Link
- It will ‘Successfully linked with Alexa’ – Press OK
- USER can see the devices on the Alexa app which are onboarded on the app.
OR Method 2
- Open Alexa app
- Search the skill “RR Signature Smart” on the Alexa app.
- Enable the skill
- Enter user credentials of RR Signature smart in the Skill
- It will display “Waiting for RR Kabel to link the app”
- Finally, it will display “ Successfully App is linked with Alexa”
- Explore your devices on the Alexa app.
- Now can control the operation of the devices using the Alexa app.
Connect to Google Home
- Download and install the ‘Google Home’ App from Appstore / Playstore
- Go to the Mobile app ‘Home Screen’
- Select Profile Select Connect with Google Home
- It will open the Google Home app and ask you to fill in the credentials
- Message will come to ‘Link RR Signature Smart’ with Google Home. Press Link
- It will ‘Successfully linked with Google Home’ – Press OK
- USER can see the devices on the Alexa app which are onboarded on the app.
