Product Usage Instructions

Connecting Inputs and Outputs
Connect your audio sources to the corresponding inputs such as CD, Tuner, DVD, etc. Connect the tape outputs and inputs for recording and playback. Ensure the speakers are connected to the correct speaker outputs.

Powering On and Source Selection
Use the ON/OFF switch to power on the device. Rotate the ON/OFF knob to select different sources. The display will show the selected source on the left and volume level on the right.

Volume Control and Setup
Adjust the volume using the volume knob or remote control. Use the remote control for additional functions like balance adjustment and menu setup.

Using the BY-PASS Input
Warning:
Reduce the volume of the source connected to BY-PASS before use.

The BY-PASS Input allows you to use the Integrated as a Power amplifier. Select BY-PASS from the front panel or remote control to activate it. Once activated, other functions are disabled. Press BY-PASS again to return.

FAQ

  • Q: How do I clean the device?
    A: Before cleaning, unplug the device. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning. Avoid using products containing acetone, mineral spirits, ammonia, or abrasives. Do not attempt to clean the inside of the device.

  • Q: What is the warranty period?=
    A: The warranty is for two years from the date of purchase. Ensure your dealer fills out the guarantee form and keep it for reference. The warranty is valid for properly used appliances.

  • Q: What is the power supply specification?
    A: The efficacy power is 160 Wrms/ch/8 (230v) and 300 Wrms/ch/4 (230v).

CONNECTING

  1. Auxiliary input (optional phono or S/PDIF).

    The remote control is equipped with 2 Lithium CR2025 batteries. This remote control is also able to drive all other ATOLL products: CD players; Tuner; Integrated or preamplifier.

  19. Allows to switch OFF/ON the display. (When the display is OFF, press any key to refresh the display for 3 seconds).

  22. Direct access to sources; to activate/deactivate the BY-PASS Input, hold 3 seconds.

  23. ON/OFF key: on stand-by, the appliance keeps all parameters unchanged (source, volume level, balance, color of the knobs backlight).

  24. MUTE key: to get off the Mute, press any active key of the remote control or turn a front knob.

  25. Access to Menus:

    • Balance (1 press): once on Balance menu, setup is operated with vol – & + keys. You can setup balance level from -9 to +9.
    • Light (2 press): with this menu you can select the backlight color of the 2 front knobs of the front panel: Red, Blue, Purple or OFF.
  26. BY-PASS button: to activate / deactivate, hold 3 seconds.

USING OF THE BY-PASS INPUT

Warning: reduce the volume of the source connected to BY-PASS before any use of the BY-PASS Input.

The BY-PASS Input offers you the capacity to use your Integrated as a Power amplifier (plugged to an A/V processor for example). This Input can be selected from the front panel or with the BY-PASS key of the remote control (hold 3 seconds). Once selected, mention “BY-PASS” appears on display. Then, no other functions are available from the front panel or remote control. The Integrated can be used exactly as a Power Amp. Press once BY-PASS to get back from BY-PASS.

E.C. marking certified the conformity with low tension directive 73/23/CEE, directive CEM 89/336/CEE, and national transpositions.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

The guarantee is two years period from the date of purchase. We recommend you to ask your dealer to fill the guarantee and to conserve it. The guarantee is only available for appliances that have been using correctly.

MAINTENANCE

Before any maintenance operation, unplug your appliance from the mains socket (9). A soft, dry cloth is sufficient for cleaning the apparel. Do not use any product that contains acetone, mineral spirits, ammonia, or abrasives.
Never try to clean the inside of the device.

CAUTIONS

  • Do not make any connections when your device is turned on.
  • Always switch off your appliance before moving it or before any changes of wires on the rear.
  • Install your appliance in a dry, well-ventilated place away from any source of heat.
  • Make sure you never put anything on your amplifier.
  • Avoid any short circuits.
  • Carefully observe the polarity & and, as well as the left and right connection directions.
  • Never connect two speakers in parallel to the same output.

ADVISES

  • To optimize the performance of your device, you should switch it on at least half an hour before any listening, the time for the power stage to reach its ideal working temperature.
  • Your device will give you optimal listening quality after this time-lapse.
  • Between two uses, it is, therefore, preferable to let the device in the standby position so that it remains at its optimum temperature.
  • At night or when you leave your home, it is best to use the main switch to turn off the device.
  • To optimize the sound quality of your system, we recommend that you choose good-quality connection cords. Do not hesitate to ask your specialist dealer for advice.
