Product Usage Instructions

Turning On and Pairing:

  1. Turn on the keyboard by moving the switch to the ‘on’ position.
  2. Press and hold FN + Bluetooth key (1 or 2) until LED blinks to pair.

Wireless and Wired Connection:

  1. To connect wirelessly via USB-A receiver, plug the receiver into an available port and press FN + 3.
  2. For wired mode and charging, connect USB-C cable to host device port and press FN + 4.

Charging:

  1. To recharge, connect the keyboard to a powered USB-C port using the included cable.
  2. Charge for 2-3 hours or until the red light turns off.

Function Key and OS Switching:

  • Press FN + Esc to toggle between Media and Function keys.
  • Press FN + O for macOS functions and FN + P for Windows functions.

Keycap Customization:
Swap Option and Command keys with Win and Alt keys when using with Windows by replacing keycaps accordingly.

Power Saving Features:
The backlight turns off after 1 minute of inactivity. After 30 minutes, the keyboard enters sleep mode. Press any key to wake it up.

Note:
Switches are not hot-swappable.

  • How many devices can I connect via Bluetooth?
    You can connect up to two devices via Bluetooth. Simply repeat the pairing process for the second device.

  • How do I know when the battery is low?
    The power indicator on the space bar will flash red when the battery is low.

USING INSTRUCTION

  1. Turn on the keyboard by moving the switch on the top of the keyboard to the “on” position.
    The last connection source key should illuminate.

  1. Press and hold the FN key and one of the Bluetooth keys (“1” or “2”) for ~5 seconds, until the LED starts to blink.

  1. Select “Slim SM1 Keyboard” or “Bluetooth Device” in the host device’s Bluetooth settings to complete the pairing process. Repeat the process to connect up to two devices via Bluetooth.

  1. Connect the included 2.4GHz USB-A wireless receiver to an available USB-A port on your computer, adapter, hub, or dock.

  1. Press “FN + 3” to connect the keyboard to your host device wirelessly via the USB-A receiver.

  1. The keyboard can be used in wired mode by pressing “FN + 4” while the USB-C cable is connected to a host device port.
    In wired mode the keyboard will charge simultaneously.

  1. The power indicator on the space bar will flash red when the battery is low.

  1. Press “FN + O” to switch the keyboard to macOS functions.

  1. When using with Windows, you can swap the Option and both Command keys with the included Win and Alt keys. Lift the macOS keycaps straight up and push the Windows keycaps down into place.

NOTE

  • With a wireless connection, after 1 minute of inactivity, the backlight will turn off. After 30 minutes, the keyboard will enter sleep mode to help conserve battery life. Press any key to wake it up, and the keyboard will automatically reconnect.
  • Switches are not hot-swappable.
