Tips and Reminders

  • Charge your device daily and test your device monthly.
  • Your device is waterproof, but should not be submerged for extended periods.
  • Your device may have fall detection enabled as an option. In certain situations, some movements may not register as a fall and not be detected. Always press your Help Button when able.
  • Your device uses GPS and Wi-Fi technology to identify your location. The performance of GPS can be affected by a wide range of factors including obstructions, metal objects, structures, weather and other factors that block the signal.
  • Lanyards are designed to breakaway under certain conditions. However, any cord worn around the neck can pose a risk of strangulation, including the possibility of serious injury or death.

On the Go is versatile, small, and easy to use, delivering fast access to help at the press of a button – both in and outside the home.

To Place an Emergency Call
Firmly press and hold the Help Button on your device. Allow the call to go through and speak to the response center.

Installation

  1. Plug the charging cradle into a power outlet. Make sure a light switch does NOT control the outlet. Make sure the power cord does not cause any tripping hazards.
  2. Place the On the Go device into the charging cradle in the indicated direction so the charging contacts connect. The On the Go will announce, “Charging” once properly placed.
  3. Perform a test call to the monitoring center by pressing and holding the Help Button until you hear, “calling for help.” After a short pause, you will be able to talk to a response specialist.

  • To check the battery status, press the battery test button. The device will announce, “Battery Low” or “Battery Okay”
  • Your device is designed to always be on.

Fall detection does not detect 100% of falls. If able, always press your Help Button.
