Product Usage Instructions
General Information:
We recommend reading the user instructions before using the product for the
first time and storing them with the packaging for future reference. Ensure
the doll is on a suitable surface when using the drinking function with water.
Using the Drinking Function:
To make the doll drink water, fill the provided bottle with fresh tap water
and securely attach the pacifier to the bottle. Lay the doll on your arm with
the bottle’s tip pointing downwards to insert the pacifier horizontally into
the doll’s mouth.
Drying:
To remove any water from the doll’s arms, stretch the arms until the holes
in the armpits are visible. Rotate the doll multiple times until the water is
gone. The doll should then be placed upright. If there is still water inside,
it will drain out through the two holes at the bottom of the torso. Water in
the legs will drain out through the holes in the soles of the feet.

Functions
Soft body. (Image 1)
The doll has a soft body which is specially designed for extra grip and is
slightly flexible.
I don’t need batteries.
All functions described below are purely mechanical.
I am even more flexible. (Image 2)
The doll has a moveable head, arms and legs. The shoulder joints can be rotated 360 degrees to make it easier to put on and take off her BABY born Little clothes.
I can drink. (Image 3)
Use only clean, fresh tap water to fill the bottle that comes with the doll
and screw the drinking attachment firmly onto the bottle.
Hold the doll across your arm in a semi-upright angle so that the bottle tip
is facing down and can be inserted into the doll’s mouth at a straight angle.
The bottle tip must be fully inserted into the doll’s mouth.
Gently squeeze the bottle repeatedly to feed the water to the doll. (You
cannot feed more than half of the bottle’s contents to the doll.)
The water will then flow directly out of the bottom of the doll.
Make sure that the doll is on a suitable surface or wearing a nappy.
Warning: Use fresh water only. Other liquids can block the tubes inside
the doll.
I can eat. (Image 4)
The doll can be fed with water using the provided spoon and bowl. To do so, hold the doll across your arm in a semi-upright angle and use the spoon to feed her water from the bowl. The water will pass straight through the doll, so make sure she is wearing a dry nappy before she is fed.
I can soil my nappy. (Image 5)
For this, the doll must first be wearing the clean BABY born cloth nappy
(included accessory).
Then feed the doll with water; see “I can drink”.
The nappy becomes wet. Now the nappy can be changed. Always let the nappy dry
completely before using it again.
Hand-wash the cloth nappy to clean it.
I can do a wee-wee. (Image 6)
The doll can use the potty and do a wee-wee.
For this, open the bottom of the doll’s bodysuit and place the doll on the
potty. Then insert the bottle into the doll’s mouth, making sure that the
bottle tip is fully inserted into the mouth.
Gently squeeze the bottle to feed the doll.
The water will run straight out of the bottom of the doll into the potty. Your
doll is doing a wee!
You cannot feed more than half of the bottle’s contents to the doll.
Once she has done her wee, you need to refill the bottle with water before
your doll can use the potty again.
I can take a bath. (Image 7)
If the doll is bathed at home, please only use the BABY born bathtubs or bathe
the doll in a suitable container. When bathing, use cold or tepid water and
choose commercially available bath additives suitable for children. If the
doll is taken to a swimming pool or the beach, please do not play with the
doll in the chlorine water or salt water for longer than 1 hour, as chemical
reactions or bleaching of the doll may occur.
The 1-hour limit also applies to the bathwater in the BABY born bathtub or the
container suitable for dolls. The doll should not be submerged completely
under water.
-
It is essential that you rinse and clean the doll with clear water after bathing.
If water has entered the doll, please remove the water before playing with and using the functions of BABY born. Observe the information on cleaning and drying. -
When playing with the doll in the BABY born bathtub or another suitable container, water can enter the tubes. It is therefore vital to clean the tube system inside the doll immediately after bathing. Please read the information on cleaning for further details.
-
Important! Avoid bathing the doll together with your child in the bath.
Incomplete cleaning and/or drying after a previous bath could result in unhealthy germs and bacteria forming inside the doll. -
The doll is not suitable for use as a floatation device.
-
Do not use cosmetic or skin care products on the doll.
-
Do not leave the doll in direct sunlight for extended periods of time (max. 1 hour).
-
Do not subject the doll to high temperatures (45°C or higher) for extended periods of time.

Information on cleaning and drying: (Image 10)
To be done by an adult.
Exterior cleaning:
Remove dirt on the outside of the doll using a damp cloth. It is easier to
clean the doll using warm soapy water.
Interior cleaning:
Fill the bottle with warm water and mild washing-up liquid and feed the doll.
See also “I can drink”.
Repeat this procedure several times and rinse with fresh, clean water at least
twice. After cleaning, leave the doll on her potty for about 15 minutes to
ensure that all water has run out.
Wait for the inside of the doll to air dry and then dress her in a dry nappy.
Important:
To prevent the formation of mould and mould stains, the doll should be cleaned
with diluted vinegar after cleaning with washing-up liquid. To do this, add a
splash of commercially available vinegar to warm water. Repeat the cleaning
procedure described above with this diluted vinegar. To finish, repeat the
cleaning procedure using fresh, clean water at least twice.
Drying: (Image 11)
To remove any water from the doll’s arms, spread the arms so that the holes in
the armpits are visible. Rotate the doll back and forth until there is no
water left. Now stand the doll upright. If there is any water in the body, it
will flow out of the two holes provided at the bottom of the body. If there is
water in the legs, it will flow out of the two holes in the soles of the feet.
You can check whether there is still water in the doll’s arms, legs or body by
shaking it briefly. Therefore, repeat the process described above several
times in order to empty the doll completely. To dry the doll, please pat the
doll and especially all the joints dry carefully using a towel.
Lastly, leave the unclothed doll to air in a dry, well-ventilated and warm
place for an extended period of time.
Please note that water droplets may still leak from the doll’s joints, feet or
the two holes on the doll’s body. Therefore, put a nappy on the doll and
remove any water that may be leaking from the joints and feet with a dry
cloth.
