Product introduction

  • FCA-2200 is a face recognition-based attendance and access control terminal product. It supports identity authentication based on face recognition, password, and QR code or any combination thereof. It can be used in places including commercial real estate, corporate buildings, hotels, government, industrial parks, school campuses, small enterprises, construction sites, and shops.

Installation Instructions

Installation environment

  • It is recommended to install this product in an indoor environment, avoid it facing toward window, door, and light source, and keep it free from exposure to direct sunlight/lamplight.
  • This device supports 86 box installation and on-wall installation.
  • The recommended installation height is 1.4m, but it can be adjusted based on your body height.

Box installation

  1. Fix the 86 boxes and bracket using two machine screws.
  2. Connect the connecting wire to the external wire of the device by inserting it into the device’s back interface. Install the device in the box and add screw fixtures at the bottom.IOMO-FCA-2200-Workplace-Intelligence-FIG-1 \(2\)

On-wall installation

  1. Based on the reference line on the sticker, attach the sticker to the wall and drill four holes per the size of Hole 1.
  2. Insert expansion tubes into the four holes and remove the sticker.IOMO-FCA-2200-Workplace-Intelligence-FIG-1 \(3\)
  3. Use four self-tapping screws and the holes on the wall to fix the bracket on the wall.
  4. Connect the connecting wire to the external wire of the device by inserting it into the device’s back interface. Install the device in the box and add screw fixtures at the bottom.

Device wiring description

IOMO-FCA-2200-Workplace-Intelligence-FIG-1 \(7\) NO/NC default setting is NC (normally closed) output, which can be changed in the engineering mode.

Basic Operation of Local Interface

Activation and navigation Device startup and activation

  • The device is automatically started up after powering on.
  • Language Settings:
    • After using it for the first time or restoring factory settings, you need to select the interface language. The device supports multi-language versions, including simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, and Thai. As shown below.
  • Local configuration:
    • After selecting a language, click > to go to the local configuration page.

Network configuration

  • Click “Configuration” to configure the device network. You can choose a wireless network or a wired network.

Wireless network

  • Step 1 Click [Configuration.] to display the “Network Configuration” interface.
  • Step 2 Select [Wireless Network] and the system will display the “Wireless Network” interface.
  • Step 3 Select the available WIFI (only a WiFi that requires a password is supported, a WiFi that requires a user name is not supported).
  • Step 4 After entering the WIFI password, click [OK] to connect to the Wi-Fi network.
  • Step 5 After a successful connection to the network, it displays “Connected”.
  • Step 6 Click to return to the “Network Configuration” interface. Click “Next” to start the background configuration. See the operation details in “5.1.3 Background configuration”.

Wired Network

  • Step 1 Click [Configuration.] to display the “Network Configuration” interface.
  • Step 2 Select [Wired Network] and the system will display the “Wired Network” interface.
  • Step 3 The device also supports locally connected devices (network cable required). and enter the device network parameters including IP address, subnet mask, gateway address/DNS preferred, DNS optional.
  • Step 4 After network configuration, click [Save] and return to the “Network Configuration” interface.
  • Step 5 Click “Next” to start background configuration. See the operation details in “5.1.3 Background configuration”.

Background configuration

In the “Network Configuration” interface, click [Next] to display the “Background Configuration” interface. Start configuration of the management platform. Koala Server management is supported now.

Local server

  • Step 1 Check “Local Server”. Click “Next” and the system will display the “Local Server” interface.
  • Step 2 Enter the server address, user name, and password.
    • Note: the user name and password belong to the Web client of the connected local server.
  • Step 3 Click [Next] to start connecting the local server.
  • Step 4 After a successful connection, the device will display the “Set Engineering Password” interface. After entering and confirming the password, click “Next”.
    • Note: the engineering password contains 6-14 digits, which must include a combination of any two numeral, letter, and symbol. This password is used by the user to log in to the engineering interface of the device. The operation of the engineering interface is explained in “5.3 Engineering mode”.
  • Step 5 After the password is set successfully, it will display “Device Configuration Completed”. Click “Start Use” or wait 59 before it jumps to the recognition interface.

Single machine

  • Step 1 Check “Single machine”.
  • Step 2 Then click [Next] to access the “Set Engineering Password” interface.
  • Step 3 After entering and confirming the password, click “Next”.
    • Note: the engineering password contains 6-14 digits, which must include a combination of any two of numeral, letter, and symbol. This password is used by the user to log in to the engineering interface of the device. The operation of the engineering interface is explained in “5.3 Engineering mode”.
  • Step 4 After the password is set successfully, it will display “Device Configuration Completed”. Click “Start Use” or wait 59 before it jumps to the recognition interface.
    • Note: If you need to switch to the engineering mode, long press the recognition interface for 3s and enter the password to switch to the engineering mode. The contents of engineering mode are explained in “5.3 Engineering mode”.

Recognition interface

  • The recognition interface can display current time, real-time video, personnel recognition results device position, etc.
  • Click the screen to display the upper menu bar, which will display the current network connection status, Wi-Fi connection status, and server connection status.

Standby mode

  • In the access preview interface or system configuration interface, if the time without operation exceeds the preset standby time and no face is detected, the device will automatically enter the standby mode.
  • It will exit the standby mode when a face is detected.

Engineering mode

  • In the recognition interface, long press the blank area on the screen to pop up the password prompt box.
  • Enter the engineering password that was set upon activation and confirm it to enter the engineering mode.IOMO-FCA-2200-Workplace-Intelligence-FIG-1 \(16\)
  • Click the “Return” button in the upper left corner to exit the engineering mode.
    • Note: if the entered password is incorrect for consecutive 5 times in 5 minutes, the device will be locked for 10 minutes.

Engineering mode

  • Device information
    • Click “Device Information” to jump to the device information page, which displays “Product Name”, “Product Model” and “Product Serial Number”.
  • Network status
    • Click “Network Status” to jump to the network status page.
    • Click “Wi-Fi” to jump to the Wi-Fi information page, which displays “Wi-Fi Name”, “IP Address”,
    • “Subnet Mask”, “Gateway”, “DNS” and “MAC”, as shown in the figure below.
    • Click “Wired Network” to jump to the wired network information page, which displays “IP Address”, “Subnet Mask”, “Gateway”, “DNS” and “MAC”, as shown in the figure below.
    • Click “Background Information” to jump to the background information page, which displays “Connection Status”, “Server Address” and “User Name”.

Version information

  • Click “Version Information” to jump to the version information page, where you can view the firmware version and algorithm version.

  • Click “Check Update’ to check the version status.

Personnel entry

  • The device supports entry into the personnel base. Click “Personnel Entry” to enter the “Add Person ” interface and fill in the information as prompted.

Volume adjustment

  • Click “Volume Control” to access the volume control page, where you can adjust the volume of the prompt voice or set it as mute.

Reset network

  • Click “Reset network ” to jump to the “Network Configuration” page, where you can redo the network configuration. See the operation details in”5.1.2 Network configuration”.

Reset project password

  • Click “Reset project password” to jump to the “Set project Password” page, where you can reset the engineering password.

Reset engineering password

  • Device restart
    • If you need to restore factory defaults, click “Restore Factory Defaults” on the “Engineering Mode” interface to switch to the “Restore factory Defaults” page and click “Confirm”.
  • Restore to factory settings
    • Click “Restore Factory Setting” to jump to the “Restore Factory Setting” page.
    • Click “Want to Restore Factory Setting” to restore the factory setting, as shown in the flow Figure After that, the device will be rebooted automatically.

O &M account management

On the “Engineering Mode” interface, click “O&M account Management” to switch to the operation and maintenance Account management page, You can determine whether to enable the account as required.

Language

  • Click “Language” to jump to the ” Language configuration” page, where you can choose the interface language. The device supports multi-language versions, including simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, and Thai.
  • When the selection is complete, click Confirm to complete the switch. After the language is reset, the device will restart to complete the switching.

Safety Precautions

Appendix A Safety Precautions

  • Warning
    • During the installation and use of this product, all electrical safety regulations of the country and region must be strictly observed.
    • Please use power adapters supplied by legitimate manufacturers. Please see the product parameter table for specific requirements for power adapters.
    • Do not expose the product to rain or moisture to reduce the risk of fire or electric shock.
    • Easy-to-use power breakers shall be included in the circuit in the building.
    • Please make sure the product is securely fixed during installation on walls or ceilings.
    • In case of abnormal operation, please contact the product service provider and do not disassemble or modify the device in any way. (As for the problems caused by unapproved modification or maintenance, our company shall not assume any responsibilities.)
  • Note
    • The product shall not be installed in an environment with vibration or impact and shall be far away from electromagnetic interference. (Ignoring this will likely result in product damage).
    • Please do not directly touch heat-radiating parts of the product, to avoid scalding.
    • Indoor products shall not be installed in a place where they may be exposed to water or other liquids.
    • Please do not use the product in an environment where it is exposed to extreme heat, extreme cold, dust, corrosion, or high humidity. Please see the parameter table of products for specific requirements for temperature and humidity.
    • Lens shall not be exposed to strong light (such as lamp light, sunlight, or laser beam). Otherwise, the image sensor will be damaged.
    • Heat accumulation shall be avoided and the surroundings of the product shall be kept ventilated.
    • Please do not touch the image sensor. When cleaning is required, wipe the dirt gently with a clean and soft cloth slightly wetted by alcohol. When the device is not in use, cover it to protect the image sensor.
    • A device connected to the Internet is likely exposed to network security problems. Please enhance safety protection for personal information and data. Please contact us immediately once you find that the device may have a potential network safety hazard.
    • Please understand that you are responsible for reasonably setting all the passwords and other product safety-related settings and safely keeping your username and password.
    • Please properly keep all the original packaging material and send the material back to the dealer or manufacturer in case of any problems. The user shall be responsible for accidental damage in transportation caused by non-original packaging materials.
