INSTRUCTION MANUAL
Congratulations on treating your green thumb!
Thank you for being a good steward of our environment. The green goodness you’ve just received was packaged with recycled paper.
Simply Good Plants direct from our FAMILY to YOURS
Due to the “nature” of Mother Nature, if your plants have become damaged in transport, please contact your online retailer.
In Ground:
1. Choose the ideal location for the plant type. Prepare the planting hole twice the size of the root ball. Incorporatesoil amendments or organic matter.
2. Gently remove the plant from container by pressing the sides of the pot
firmly to release the soil. Carefullyloosen some of the outermost roots. (If
your plant was delivered with a stake we do not recommend removing itfor 1-2
years until plant is established.)
3. Place plant in hole, making sure top of the root ball is even with the
existing soil line. Backfill soil around theplant and press in firmly to
remove any air pockets.
4. Water the area gently but generously to help the soil settle. Fertilize as needed.
In Container:
1. Select a pot/container twice the size of the root ball. Containers should have holes in the base for drainage.
2. Follow steps 2-4 of ‘In Ground’ instructions. 2.
Note: Plants may drop leaves during and after transplant. This is normal, no need to panic.
