FAQs

Can the GPS read locations within buildings? if so, how precise it is.

Outside, it can hardly track. Never inside.

Is it water-resistant?

This item is not water-resistant.

How long does the battery last?

The battery life, I discovered, is very consistent with the justification provided in the manufacturer’s literature. It is dependent on settings and usage… If the gadget is set to automatically update every few minutes, the battery will last approximately 24 hours when completely charged. The battery will last approximately 4 days if the device is set to manual update and you only check it 4–6 times per day. Battery life depends on how frequently the object you are tracking moves from place to place if it is set to update on movement.

Is it water-resistant?

Although it has a silicone cover, it is not water resistant. It has accessible charging points.

Before there is a charge, how many text messages (locators) are included each month?

Though I don’t subscribe, I used to receive email alerts.

I find the geofencing for my dog to be interesting. There will be a 150 meter fence. How long does it take to receive a dog-crossing-the-fence alert?

If the device chooses to work, it will take around a minute; if not, it will never work.

Does this function in China?

I reside in the Dominican Republic, and it operates flawlessly everywhere in the world.

Does this gadget support Indian SIM cards?

Given that it uses the open cellular platform, I don’t see why not. ****
