Amp+ Sound System Adapter Kit
- Left kick panel speaker harness
- Rear channel adapter
- Amp turn on adapter (optional)
- Right kick panel speaker harness
- Amp+ bypass adapter
You need to remove the factory trunk amp, as it is NOT COMPATIBLE with Amp+
Connect the bypass adapter, which is REQUIRED if you are using the Amp+ speaker outputs
We will be working with the speaker connectors and remote turn on wires on the Amp+ radio harness

- Rear Left
The Amp+ radio harness includes separate turn on wires for a power antenna and external amps
- Amp/sub turn on wire blue/white
- Power antenna turn on wire blue
The factory wiring has a single turn on wire for the radio. You only want two
remote turn on wires if you:
(1) have a power antenna
(2) want to use the built-in antenna bypass feature, AND
(3) plan to use a sub or external amp
If any of these do not apply, just connect the white factory wire to the power antenna turn on wire
OPTIONAL separator kit for the factory remote turn on wire
Includes a crimp connector and housing for the Amp+ harness
SKIP forward to page 11 and install this kit next if you plan to separate your factory remote turn on wires

Factory turn on wire for both trunk amp and power antenna
Will not be used
- Amp turn-on wire comes in from the trunk, plugs in to clear connector, then goes out to the radio
- Antenna turn on wire has two connectors
- This is the power antenna turn on connector in a split setup
- Antenna turn on wire coming from the trunk (NOT THE AMP WIRE!)
- Pull the antenna turn-on wires from the clear connector to separate them
- The amp turn on adapter wire from the separator kit plugs in here
Grab the insulation on the adapter wire and push the metal connector all the way in
NOTE: The wire in the kit includes insulation on the terminal. It can be removed if needed as shown in the picture
- You now have a separate turn on wire for other equipment like a sub or external amplifier
- Make sure no metal is exposed on the adapter wire
Complete separate turn on wire installation on the Amp+ radio harness
STEP 1: Strip the heat shrink off the blue/white amp turn on wire, then crimp the supplied pin
STEP 2: Slide the housing over the pin. make sure the two retaining triangles face away
STEP 3: Snap the adapter wire on to the new connector
