Product Usage Instructions
Pre-Installation Preparation
Read the manual carefully before starting the installation. Do not cut the gutters to size yet. Lay the gutters and fittings on the ground to determine the placement of outlets, joiners, and brackets.
Wall Bracket Installation
Screw the pipe brackets into the wall before installing the pipe. Place the highest pipe bracket about 20cm below the lowest elbow and the second pipe bracket about 25cm above the ground.
Assembly
Once all parts are correctly positioned, glue them together securely.
Downpipe Elbow Installation
Fit an elbow at the bottom of the downpipe to direct water into the drain if necessary.
Before Installation
- Read this manual carefully before you start with the installation.
- Do not cut the gutters to size yet. First lay the gutters and fittings on the ground and determine where you want to place the outlets, joiners, and brackets
- Lengths of gutter can be cut to fit as necessary with a fine-toothed saw. Ensure that the cut is clean and square. De-burr rough edges with a knife or sandpaper.
Installation
- For houses with angled fascias, the enclosed correction pieces (10°-20° or turned around 25°-35°) should be used.
- Place a correction piece behind the bracket to bring it into a horizontal position (use screws with appropriate length, there are three different sizes available). If you do not need to use the correction pieces, the brackets can be installed directly on the fascia board.
- The distance between brackets should be reduced to 50cm. Check that there is a fall towards the outlet to encourage water to drain efficiently. First, lay the gutter in the backside of the brackets. Pull the gutter down with the fingers whilst simultaneously pushing the bracket over the gutter with the thumbs.
- With a gutter joiner, two gutters are connected. Do not glue the gutter joiners.
- Lay the gutter to the ‘INSTALLATION POSITION’ line and fit the gutter using the ‘back to front’ rule as described in point 3.
- Fix the stop ends by gluing them on the gutter.
- Assemble offsets using two elbows and a piece of pipe (cut from a 100cm piece). First, make a test installation without gluing.
- First screw the pipe brackets into the wall before installing the pipe. The highest pipe bracket is about 20cm below the lowest elbow. The second pipe bracket is about 25cm above the ground.
- If everything is properly in place, the parts can be glued together.
- Fit an elbow at the bottom of the downpipe so that it directs water into the drain if required.
