You’ve made the right decision by choosing the Simmons 1x25MM Red Dot Sight! The 1x25MM is a state-of-the-art open red dot sight designed for hunting, plinking, and target shooting with pistols, rifles, and shotguns. It may be directly mounted to compatible pistol slides (or accessory mounts) with the Leupold DeltaPoint® Pro footprint, or it may be mounted to accessory rails using the included low-profile Weaver-style mount. It features a battery life of more than 5,000 hours (at a typical brightness level of “3”), a 1-hour auto-timeout feature to prolong battery life (timer countdown resets if any button is pressed), battery access without unmounting, and a 4 MOA dot with 8 brightness settings.
Note: battery life will vary depending on the brightness settings used, freshness and quality of the battery, ambient temperature, and other factors.
Your sight’s illuminated reticle has been pre-focused, so the aiming point always appears in focus on the target. By comparison, open sights force you to choose to focus your eye on only the rear sight, front sight, or target or settle for a blurry compromise.
Your sight can be easily used with both eyes open (eye relief is unlimited), increasing the shooter’s awareness of the surrounding environment and providing faster target acquisition due to the limited parallax design, as the dot follows the movement of the user’s eye while remaining fixed on the target. Engineered for greater speed and accuracy, the sight allows you to focus on the target rather than a reticle, thus increasing accuracy. The Simmons 1x25MM red dot sight’s electronic illuminated dot has been pre-focused to be parallax-free at 50 yards. Parallax error is minimized, from close range up to 100 yds.

Even with its technologically advanced design and features, your new sight will only perform at its best if properly mounted. One of the most important contributing factors to the accuracy of your firearm and sight combination is the quality of the mount and the care taken during its installation. The 1x25MM red dot sight will fit all bases compatible with Leupold® DeltaPoint® Pro sights*. It also includes a low-profile base for mounting on Weaver or Picatinny-style accessory rails. Ensure your base is manufactured for your pistol, rifle, or shotgun. Be sure the base is properly installed and securely fastened according to the manufacturer’s instructions for your safety.
The included hold-down mounting screws (2) are intended to be used with indirect mounting adapter plates like what is utilized for GLOCK MOS* There are other types of optics-ready plate systems from pistol manufacturers (e.g., TAURUSTM TORO) that utilize a pass-through plate system, which requires the user to utilize screws provided from the pistol manufacturer. If so, additional care must be taken to ensure the red dot sight is adequately clamped. Some screws may bottom out into the slide and seem to be tight but are not adequately clamping the sight onto the slide. The potential resulting looseness can cause lens fracture and potential risk to the user. Always follow user-manual guidance and seek assistance from the respective manufacturers or a qualified gunsmith. Always wear approved eye protection.
The base should create a uniform horizontal and vertical mounting platform. For your safety, be sure it is properly installed and securely fastened according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Your 1x25MM red dot sight does not have set eye relief; therefore, you should provide at least three inches of clearance between the viewing lens and your eye when in the shooting position. While 1X power/magnification sights have unlimited eye relief, ensure adequate space between your face and the optic to account for firearm recoil.
If mounting directly to an adapter plate (common for optics-ready pistols), follow the manufacturer’s instructions for attaching the adapter plate. Unless otherwise specified by the third-party manufacturer, remove any clearance by gently forward loading the plate during fastening. When attaching the red dot sight to the adapter plate, gently load the sight body forward while fastening. This removes clearances that may otherwise shift under recoil and improves the chances of repeatable mounting should the red dot sight need to be removed for any reason, such as maintenance.
If using the included mount, loosen the socket head hex screw on the mount of the sight using the provided tool so that the locking bar can clamp around the rail. Position the mount on your base rail so the cross-bolt engages a slot. Forward load the mount so that the crossbolt engages the forward face of the slot, and clearance is removed. Tighten the hex bolt. CAUTION: Do not overtighten. The torque should be set to 15 lbfin (pound-force inch) for the two sight-to-base screws and 20 lbf*in for the base cross-bolt.
Remember, not all sights or scopes are compatible with all mounts on all firearms. If you have any doubts, you should seek the advice of your local retailer or gunsmith.
INSTALLING THE BATTERY
Before powering on your sight for the first time, you must activate the installed CR2032 lithium battery by removing the protective plastic disc covering the battery. Loosen the screw on the right side of the battery cover (see photo, right). An O-ring retains the screw to help keep it in place. Note: The screw and mating door holes have a machined countersink to hold the screw flush to the cover. When reinstalling the cover after activating or changing the battery, ensure the cover’s tab end (opposite of the screw end) is seated into the sight’s mating pocket before attempting to engage the screw. Remove the plastic disc. Replace the battery cover, replace and tighten the screw.
Verify that the red dot is on and functional by switching the power on and increasing the brightness if necessary (see “Switching Power On/Off” and “Adjusting Dot Brightness” below).
REPLACING THE BATTERY
Should your reticle grow dim or not light, replace the battery, following the installation procedure described above.
SWITCHING POWER ON/OFF
To turn the sight’s power on, press either the Brightness “Up” or “Down” button (7, Parts Guide) for 1 second, then release. Hold the Brightness “Down” button to switch off the sight for 3 seconds.

ADJUSTING DOT BRIGHTNESS
To adjust the intensity level of the dot reticle, press the Brightness “Up” button to increase brightness or the Brightness “Down” to decrease brightness. The 1x25MM red dot sight provides 8 brightness levels from the dimmest to the brightest setting. Each single Up or Down button press will increase or decrease brightness by one level. The highest two settings are visible even in bright daylight conditions. Please note that the highest settings are often too bright for indoor or dark ambient conditions and will produce some stray reflections from the LED package. This is normal; if experienced, the brightness should be reduced to compensate.
SIGHTING IN/ZEROING YOUR 1X25MMTM RED DOT SIGHT WARNING! : SINCE THIS PROCEDURE INVOLVES LIVE FIRE, IT SHOULD BE DONE AT AN APPROVED RANGE OR OTHER SAFE AREA. CHECK BORE FOR OBSTRUCTIONS. AN OBSTRUCTED BORE MAY CAUSE INJURY TO YOU AND OTHERS NEARBY. ENSURE THE CONDITION OF THE FIREARM AND CONFIRM IT IS UNLOADED BEFORE MAKING ADJUSTMENTS OR INSPECTING THE BORE. EYE & EAR PROTECTION IS RECOMMENDED.
Initial sighting in of the 1x25MM red dot sight can be done using a bore sighter per the manufacturer’s directions or by visual bore sighting through a rifle’s barrel with the bolt removed as follows, referencing a target at a 25 to 50 yard distance (7-15 yards for handgun. An alternative for pistol mounted applications is to use the iron sights as reference for initial/rough dot alignment). Boresighting should be done at your local shooting range rather than at home due to safety concerns and the convenience of confirming final sight-in with live fire while you are there.
Provided care is taken to ensure all mounting adapters and red dot sight are forward mounted, and fastened according to instruction, undesired point-of-aim shift from mounting will be negligible.
1. With the sight mounted, rest the firearm on a suitable support. Switch on the sight’s power and adjust the brightness until the dot is easily visible.
2. Start by sighting along the barrel and aim at a target 25 to 50 yards away (7-15 yards for a handgun). View through your 1x25MM red dot sight, and gently rotate the windage and elevation adjustments, using the supplied tool to align the red dot with the target as seen along the barrel. The adjustments are detented, with 1 MOA per click and 30 MOA per full revolution.
3. You should then fire a test shot to determine the point of impact of your weapon. If you are not hitting your aiming point (the center of the target), adjust by turning the windage and elevation screw(s) in the direction you want the impact to move.
The final sighting can be done once the 1x25MM red dot sight has been bore- sighted, as described above. Ensure you load the same ammo you plan to use most often with the sight.
4. Repeat step 3, making adjustments as needed, to align the point of impact with the point of aim. 5. Once satisfied with basic alignment, it is recommended to repeat step #3 except using the center of 3 or 5 shot groups
as the overall estimate for alignment confirmation.
OPERATION UNDER EXTREME CONDITIONS · Extreme heat (humid or dry): no special procedures are required. Avoid prolonged exposure if possible. · Extreme cold: extreme low temperatures may shorten battery life. · Salt air: like a firearm, ensure a light oil film is maintained on all exposed steel components (e.g., fasteners). · Dust storms and sandstorms: keep the sight covered when unused. · Ensure that the battery cover is securely fastened in place and tightened only. Clean the lens with lens paper or cloth (see
caution note below) and wipe the sight dry as soon as possible after exposure to any form of moisture. The sight is not waterproof or sprayproof. CAUTION: To avoid scratching the glass, the lenses should never be cleaned with fingers but with lens paper or cloth. · Use a soft brush or “canned air” to remove loose debris (sand, grass, etc.) before using the lens paper or soft, clean cloth.

TROUBLE SHOOTING
Problem: Red Dot Does Not Appear Possible Causes/Solutions: · Discharged battery: Replace the battery with a new CR2032 lithium cell. · Battery installed incorrectly: Remove and reinstall the battery with the correct polarity orientation, referring to the
“negative up/positive down” marks above and below the battery compartment cover (see Parts Guide photo). · Battery not making good contact: Clean contact surfaces and reinstall the battery. · Defective Brightness Buttons: Contact Simmons customer service (1-800-423-3537). Problem: Impossible To Zero Possible Causes/Solutions: · The adjustment screw is at its limit: Inspect the alignment of the mount to the barrel. Note that some aftermarket (bolt-
on / no gunsmithing) rails position the sight too high relative to the bore and can sometimes cause issues. This has been observed in some revolver applications. · The impact point is moving: Inspect all sight and accessory mating connections. Ensure the firearm and ammunition are otherwise performing as expected.

L’un des facteurs contribuant le plus à la précision de la combinaison de votre arme à feu et viseur est la qualité de la méthode de fixation et le soin apporté lors de son installation. Le viseur point rouge 1x25MM s’adapte à toutes les bases compatibles avec les viseurs Pro Leupold® DeltaPoint®*. Veiller à toujours suivre les conseils du manuel de l’utilisateur et/ou faire appel aux fabricants respectifs ou à un armurier qualifié. Toujours porter une protection oculaire homologuée.
La base doit créer une plateforme de support horizontale et verticale uniforme. Veiller à ce que tout soit correctement installé et fixé de manière sécurisée conformément aux instructions du fabricant pour la sécurité de l’utilisateur. Aucun dégagement oculaire préréglé n’est disponible pour le viseur point rouge 1x25MM ; par conséquent, il convient de laisser au moins 3 pouces (env. 8 cm) de distance entre la lentille et l’oeil en position de tir. Si les viseurs avec grossissement 1 x ont un dégagement oculaire illimité, s’assurer de disposer d’assez d’espace entre le visage et l’instrument optique en tenant compte du recul de l’arme.
Si le montage s’effectue directement sur un plateau adaptateur (courant pour les armes adaptées aux instruments optiques), suivre les instructions du fabricant pour la fixation de ce plateau adaptateur. Sauf indication contraire du fabricant tiers, éliminer tout dégagement en chargeant doucement vers l’avant le plateau pendant la fixation. Lors de la fixation du viseur point rouge au plateau adaptateur, ajuster doucement vers l’avant le corps du viseur tout en le fixant. Cette action permet d’éliminer tout dégagement susceptible de se décaler suite au recul et accroît les possibilités de fixation réitérable si le viseur point rouge devait être retiré pour n’importe quelle raison, comme par exemple un entretien.
Si le support fourni est utilisé, desserrer la vis à tête creuse à six pans sur le support à l’aide de l’outil fourni, de sorte que la barre de verrouillage puisse enserrer le rail. Positionner le support sur le rail du bas de sorte que le boulon latéral s’enclenche dans une rainure. Insérer le support par l’avant afin d’insérer le boulon transversal dans la fente avant et d’éliminer l’intervalle. Serrer le boulon à six pans. ATTENTION : Ne pas trop serrer. Le couple doit être serré à 15 livres-force pouce pour les deux vis apparentes de la base et à 20 livres-force pouce pour le boulon transversal de la base.
Point important : tous les viseurs ou lunettes ne sont pas compatibles avec tous les supports sur toutes les armes à feu. En cas de doute, demander conseil à un revendeur ou armurier local.
INSTALLATION DE LA PILE
Avant de mettre le viseur sous tension pour la première fois, activer la pile CR2032 au lithium installée en ôtant le disque protecteur en plastique couvrant la pile. Desserrer la vis située à droite du couvercle de la pile (voir photo, à droite). La vis est maintenue en place par un joint torique. Remarque : La vis et le logement d’encastrement du couvercle sont fraisés, ce qui permet un serrage de la vis jusqu’à effleurement du couvercle. Lors de la remise en place du couvercle après une activation ou un changement de pile, s’assurer que l’extrémité à languette du couvercle (à l’opposé de l’extrémité vis) est bien encastrée dans le logement du viseur avant de serrer la vis. Ôter le disque en plastique. Replacer le couvercle de la pile, replacer et serrer la vis.
Vérifier que le point rouge est activé et fonctionnel en mettant l’instrument sous tension et en augmentant la luminosité si nécessaire.
REMPLACEMENT DE LA PILE
Si le réticule s’obscurcit ou s’allume difficilement, remplacer la pile en suivant la procédure d’installation décrite ci-dessus.

MISE EN MARCHE/ARRÊT
Pour mettre le viseur sous tension, appuyer sur le bouton de luminosité « Haut » ou « Bas » pendant 1 seconde, puis relâcher. Pour éteindre le viseur, maintenir enfoncé le bouton de luminosité « Bas » pendant 3 secondes.
RÉGLAGE DE LA LUMINOSITÉ DU POINT
Pour régler le niveau d’intensité du réticule de point, appuyer sur le bouton « Haut » pour augmenter la luminosité ou sur le bouton « Bas » pour diminuer la luminosité. Le viseur point rouge 1x25MM offre 8 niveaux de luminosité, du plus faible au plus lumineux. Chaque pression sur le bouton Haut ou Bas augmente ou diminue la luminosité d’un niveau. Les deux réglages les plus élevés sont visibles même dans des conditions de forte lumière naturelle. À noter : les réglages les plus élevés sont souvent trop lumineux en intérieur ou dans un environnement extérieur sombre et produiront des reflets parasites depuis le boîtier LED. Ce phénomène est normal ; s’il se produit, réduire la luminosité pour compenser.

Le pointage initial du viseur point rouge 1x25MM peut s’effectuer en utilisant un collimateur de réglage conformément aux instructions du fabricant, ou par un alésage visuel via le baril d’une carabine, avec le boulon retiré comme suit, en se référant à une cible située à une distance de 25 à 50 yards (23 à 46 mètres) (7 à 15 yards [6,4 à 13,7 mètres] pour une arme de poing. Une alternative pour des applications fixées sur une arme de poing est d’utiliser une mire métallique comme référence pour un alignement initial ou approximatif du point rouge). Pour des raisons de sécurité, il est recommandé d’effectuer le simbleautage dans un stand de tir plutôt qu’à domicile, ce qui offre également le loisir de pouvoir confirmer le pointage final au cours d’un exercice de tir.
Veiller à ce que tous les adaptateurs de montage et le viseur point rouge soient ajustés vers l’avant et fixés conformément aux instructions; un décalage non souhaité du point de visée dû au montage est négligeable.
1. Une fois le viseur installé, placer l’arme à feu sur un support adapté. Allumer le viseur et régler la luminosité si nécessaire jusqu’à ce que le point soit facilement visible.
2. Commencer par pointer le long du canon et viser une cible située à une distance de 25 à 50 yards (23 à 46 mètres) (7 à 15 yards [6,4 à 13,7 mètres] pour une arme de poing). Regarder à travers le viseur point rouge 1x25MM et tourner doucement les capuchons de réglage de la dérivation ou de l’élévation à l’aide de l’outil fourni pour aligner le point rouge avec la cible dans la continuité du canon. Les réglages sont crantés avec 1 MOA par clic et 30 MOA par révolution complète.
3. Effectuer un tir d’essai pour déterminer le point d’impact de l’arme. Si le point visé (le centre de la cible) n’est pas touché, régler le viseur en tournant la ou les vis de dérivation et/ou d’élévation dans le sens de direction désiré de la balle.
Le pointage final peut être effectué une fois le viseur point rouge 1x25MM simbleauté, conformément aux instructions cidessus. S’assurer de charger les mêmes munitions que celles qu’il est prévu d’utiliser le plus souvent avec le viseur.
4. Répéter l’étape 3 et régler si nécessaire afin d’aligner le point d’impact avec le point de visée.
5. Si l’alignement de base est satisfaisant, il est recommandé de répéter l’étape n°3 mais en effectuant une série de 3 ou 5 tirs en tant qu’estimation globale pour la confirmation d’alignement.
FONCTIONNEMENT DANS DES CONDITIONS EXTRÊMES
· Chaleur extrême (humide ou sèche) : aucune procédure spéciale requise. Si possible, éviter une exposition prolongée.
· Froid extrême : un froid extrême raccourcit la durée de vie de la pile.
· Air salin : comme pour une arme à feu, s’assurer qu’une fine pellicule huileuse recouvre tous les composants exposés en acier (p. ex. les attaches).
· Tempêtes de poussière et de sable : laisser le couvercle sur le viseur lorsqu’il n’est pas utilisé.
· S’assurer que le couvercle de la pile est bien en place – serrage manuel uniquement. Nettoyer la lentille avec du papier ou un chiffon adapté (voir la remarque « Mise en garde » ci-dessous) et essuyer le viseur dès que possible après toute exposition toute forme d’humidité. Le viseur n’est pas étanche à l’eau ou aux pulvérisations.
ATTENTION : Ne jamais nettoyer les optiques avec les doigts, mais avec un papier ou un chiffon adapté afin de ne pas rayer le verre.
· Utiliser une brosse douce ou un dépoussiérant à air comprimé (aérosol) pour retirer les débris (sable, herbe, etc.) avant d’utiliser un papier ou un chiffon doux et propre prévus pour le nettoyage des lentilles.

DÉPANNAGE

Problème : Mise à zéro impossible Causes/Solutions possibles : · La vis de réglage a atteint sa limite maximale : Inspecter l’alignement du support sur le canon. À noter : certains rails de rechange (fixés par boulons/sans avoir recours à un armurier) positionnent le viseur trop haut par rapport à l’alésage et peuvent parfois causer des problèmes. Ceci a été observé sur quelques applications sur pistolets. · Le point d’impact se déplace : Inspecter toutes les fixations entre le viseur et les accessoires. S’assurer que l’arme à feu et les munitions sont aussi performantes que prévu.

MONTAJE DE SU MIRA DE PUNTO ROJO 1X25MM

Incluso con su diseño y funciones tecnológicamente avanzadas, su nueva mira solo se desempeñará de la mejor manera si está montada adecuadamente. La mira de punto rojo 1x25MM se ajusta a todas las bases compatibles con miras Leupold® Delta Point® Pro. La intención de los tornillos (2) de montaje es para ser usados con placas adaptadoras de montaje indirecto como las que se utilizan para GLOCK MOS*. TaurusTM TORO) que usan un sistema de placa de paso cruzado, que requiere que el usuario use tornillos proporcionados por el fabricante del arma. La base debe crear una plataforma de montaje uniforme vertical y horizontalmente. Si usa la montura incluida, afloje el tornillo hexagonal en la montura de la mira usando la herramienta proporcionada para que la barra de fijación se puede ajustar alrededor del riel. Coloque la montura en su riel base para que el perno en cruz entre en la ranura. Cargue la montura hacia adelante para que el perno en cruz entre en la ranura de adelante, y se elimine el espacio. Apriete el perno hexagonal. PRECAUCIÓN: No apriete de más. El par de torsión debe ajustarse a 15 lbfin (libras de fuerza por pulgada) para los dos tornillos que unen la mira a la base y a 20 lbf*in para el perno en cruz de la base.

INSTALACIÓN DE LA BATERÍA

AJUSTE DEL BRILLO DEL PUNTO

El avistamiento inicial de la mira de punto rojo 1x25MM se puede realizar usando un alineador de orificio según las instrucciones del fabricante o mediante el avistamiento del orificio a través del barril del rifle con el perno removido como sigue, sitúe un objetivo a una distancia de 23 a 46 metros (25 a 50 yardas) (6.4 a 14 metros/7 a 15 yardas para una pistola. 4. Repita el paso 3, haciendo los ajustes necesarios, para alinear el punto de impacto con el punto de mira. 5. Cuando quede satisfecho con la alineación básica, es recomendable repetir el paso 3 excepto por el uso del centro de
grupos de 3 o 5 disparos como el estimado general para la confirmación de la alineación.
OPERACIÓN BAJO CONDICIONES EXTREMAS · Calor extremo (húmedo o seco): no se requieren procedimientos especiales. Si es posible, evite la exposición prolongada. · Frío extremo: las temperaturas extremadamente bajas pueden acortar la vida de la batería. · Aire salado: igual que con un arma de fuego, asegúrese de mantener una capa fina de aceite sobre todos los componentes
de acero expuestos (p. ej., sujetadores). · Tormentas de polvo y arena: mantenga cubierta la mira mientras no la usa. · Asegúrese de que la cubierta de la batería está bien apretada y afirmada en su lugar. Limpie el lente con papel o tela para
lentes (vea la nota de precaución más adelante) y seque la mira tan pronto como sea posible después de estar expuesta a cualquier forma de humedad. La mira no es resistente al agua ni a salpicaduras. SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS

Ebenfalls enthalten ist ein Low-ProfileSockel für die Montage auf Weaver- oder Picatinny-Zubehörschienen. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass Ihr Sockel speziell für Ihre Pistole, Ihr Gewehr oder Ihre Schrotflinte hergestellt wurde. Achten Sie zu Ihrer Sicherheit darauf, dass der Sockel richtig montiert und nach Angaben des Herstellers befestigt wurde.
Die beiliegenden Befestigungsschrauben (2) sind für die Verwendung mit indirekten Montageadapterplatten vorgesehen, wie sie für GLOCK M.O.S.* verwendet werden. Einige Pistolenhersteller (z. B. TAURUSTM TORO) bieten andere Arten von Plattensystemen an, die Optics Ready sind und ein Durchsteckplattensystem verwenden, bei dem die vom Pistolenhersteller bereitgestellten Schrauben verwendet werden müssen. In diesem Fall muss zusätzlich darauf geachtet werden, dass das Rotpunktvisier richtig festgeklemmt ist. Bei einigen Schrauben kann es sein, dass sie im Schlitten auf Widerstand treffen und fest zu sitzen scheinen, das Visier aber nicht ausreichend auf dem Schlitten festklemmen. Der Sockel sollte eine einheitliche horizontale und vertikale Montageplattform bilden. Vergewissern Sie sich zu Ihrer Sicherheit, dass er ordnungsgemäß installiert und gemäß den Anweisungen des Herstellers sicher befestigt ist. Da Ihr 1x25MMRotpunktvisier keinen festen Augenabstand hat, sollten Sie einen Abstand von mindestens 8 cm zwischen dem Okular und Ihren Augen einhalten, wenn Sie sich in Schießposition befinden. Obwohl Zielfernrohre mit 1-facher Leistung/Vergrößerung einen unbegrenzten Augenabstand haben, sollten Sie im Hinblick auf den Rückstoß der Waffe darauf achten, dass zwischen Ihrem Gesicht und der Optik ausreichend Platz ist.
Bei der Montage auf einer Adapterplatte (üblich bei Pistolen, die Optics Ready sind) halten Sie sich bei der Befestigung der Adapterplatte bitte an die Angaben des Herstellers. Sofern vom Dritthersteller nicht anders angegeben, sollten Sie die Platte bei der Befestigung leicht nach vorne drücken, um jeglichen Spielraum zu beseitigen. Drücken Sie das Gehäuse des Rotpunktvisiers leicht nach vorne, wenn Sie es an der Adaperplatte befestigen. So beseitigen Sie Spielräume, die sich ansonsten aufgrund des Rückstoßes verschieben könnten, und verbessern gleichzeitig Ihre Chancen auf eine wiederholbare Montage, wenn das Rotpunktvisier beispielsweise zur Wartung entfernt werden muss.
Wenn Sie die mitgelieferte Montage verwenden, lösen Sie die Innensechskantschraube an der Halterung des Visiers mit dem mitgelieferten Werkzeug, so dass die Verriegelungsstange um die Schiene geklemmt werden kann. Setzen Sie die Montage so auf die Schiene, dass der Querbolzen in einem Schlitz einrastet. Belasten Sie die Montage vorne, damit der Querbolzen in der vorderen Halterung greift und der Abstand dazwischen geschlossen wird. Ziehen Sie die Sechskantschraube an. VORSICHT: Nicht zu fest anziehen. Das Anzugsdrehmoment sollte für die beiden Schrauben zwischen Visier und Sockel auf 1,7 N·m (15 lbfin pound-force inch) und für den Querbolzen des Sockels auf 2,3 N·m (20 lbf*in) eingestellt werden.
Denken Sie daran, dass nicht alle Zielfernrohre mit allen Montagen auf allen Gewehren kompatibel sind. Wenden Sie sich im Zweifelsfall an Ihren örtlichen Händler oder Büchsenmacher.
EINSETZEN DER BATTERIE
Bevor Sie Ihr Visier zum ersten Mal einschalten, müssen Sie die eingesetzte CR2032-Lithium-Batterie aktivieren, indem Sie die schützende Plastikscheibe entfernen, die die Batterie abdeckt. Lösen Sie die Schraube auf der rechten Seite der Batterieabdeckung (siehe Foto rechts). Die Schraube ist durch einen O-Ring gesichert, damit sie nicht verrutscht. Hinweis: Die zu der Schraube gehörigen Löcher sind mit einer Senkbohrung versehen, damit die Schraube bündig mit der Abdeckung abschließt. Achten Sie vor dem Festziehen der Schraube darauf, dass der Riegel der Abdeckung in der dazugehörigen Aussparung (gegenüber dem Schraubendende) steckt, wenn Sie die Abdeckung nach dem Einsetzen oder Wechseln der Batterie wieder befestigen. Entfernen Sie die Plastikscheibe. Setzen Sie die Batterieabdeckung wieder auf und ziehen Sie die Schraube fest.
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der rote Punkt sichtbar und funktionsfähig ist, indem Sie das Gerät einschalten und gegebenenfalls die Helligkeit erhöhen.
BATTERIEWECHSEL
Wenn Ihr Absehen schwächer oder gar nicht mehr leuchtet, tauschen Sie die Batterie wie oben beschrieben aus.

To adjust the intensity level of the dot reticle, press the Brightness “Up” button to increase brightness or the Brightness “Down” to decrease brightness. The 1x25MM red dot sight provides 8 brightness levels from the dimmest to the brightest setting. Each single Up or Down button press will increase or decrease brightness by one level. The highest two settings are visible even in bright daylight conditions. Please note that the highest settings are often too bright for indoor or dark ambient conditions and will produce some stray reflections from the LED package. This is normal; if experienced, the brightness should be reduced to compensate.

Das erste Einstellen des 1x25MM-Rotpunktvisiers kann gemäß den Anweisungen des Herstellers mit einem Boresighter oder durch optisches Zielen durch den Lauf eines Gewehrs mit abgenommenem Verschluss wie folgt vorgenommen werden, wobei ein Ziel in 25 bis 50 Yards (23 bis 46 Meter) Entfernung anvisiert wird (7-15 Yards/6-14 Meter bei Handfeuerwaffen. Bei der Montage auf einer Pistole können alternativ auch Kimme und Korn als Referenz für die anfängliche Ausrichtung des Punktes dienen). Die Kalibrierung des Visiers sollte aus Sicherheitsgründen nicht zu Hause, sondern an einem örtlichen Schießplatz erfolgen. Zudem ist es bequemer, das abschließende Einschießen mit scharfer Munition direkt vor Ort vorzunehmen.
Wenn darauf geachtet wird, dass alle Montageadapter und das Rotpunktvisier vorne montiert und gemäß den Anweisungen befestigt sind, wird eine unerwünschte Verschiebung des Haltepunkts durch die Montage unerheblich sein.
1. Legen Sie die Waffe mit montiertem Visier auf eine feste Unterlage. Schalten Sie das Visier ein und passen Sie die Helligkeit an, bis der Punkt gut sichtbar ist.
2. Beginnen Sie mit dem Anvisieren entlang des Laufs und zielen Sie auf ein Ziel in 25 bis 50 Yards (23 bis 46 Meter) Entfernung (7-15 Yards/6-14 Meter bei Handfeuerwaffen). Schauen Sie durch Ihr 1x25MM-Rotpunktvisier und drehen Sie mit dem beiliegenden Werkzeug vorsichtig an den Höhen- und Seitenverstellungen, bis der rote Punkt vom Lauf aus gesehen auf dem Ziel aufliegt. Die Einstellungen sind gerastert, mit 1 MOA pro Klick und 30 MOA pro ganzer Umdrehung.
3. Geben Sie anschließend einen Probeschuss ab, um den Aufschlagpunkt Ihrer Waffe zu bestimmen. Wenn Sie Ihren Zielpunkt (die Mitte des Ziels) nicht treffen, können Sie den Aufschlagpunkt durch Drehen der Schrauben an den Höhen- und Seitenverstellungen in die gewünschte Richtung verschieben.
Nachdem Sie das 1x25MM-Rotpunktvisier wie oben beschrieben kalibriert haben, können Sie zum abschließenden Einschießen übergehen. Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie die gleiche Munition laden, die Sie am häufigsten mit dem Visier verwenden wollen.
4. Wiederholen Sie Schritt 3 und nehmen Sie bei Bedarf weitere Anpassungen vor, bis Halte- und Aufschlagpunkt übereinstimmen.
5. Wenn Sie mit der grundlegenden Ausrichtung zufrieden sind, empfehlen wir, Schritt 3 noch einmal zu wiederholen, mit dem Unterschied, dass Sie diesmal den mittleren Treffpunkt von 3 oder 5 Schussgruppen zur Beurteilung der richtigen Ausrichtung verwenden.
EINSATZ UNTER EXTREMEN BEDINGUNGEN
· Extreme Hitze (feucht oder trocken): Keine besonderen Vorkehrungen erforderlich. Vermeiden Sie es nach Möglichkeit, das Gerät den Bedingungen über längere Zeit auszusetzen.
· Extreme Kälte: Extrem niedrige Temperaturen können die Laufzeit der Batterie verkürzen.
· Salzhaltige Luft: Wie bei Schusswaffen sollte sichergestellt werden, dass alle freiliegenden Komponenten aus Stahl (z. B. Befestigungselemente) von einem leichten Ölfilm bedeckt sind.
· Staub- und Sandstürme: Decken Sie das Visier ab, wenn es nicht benutzt wird.
· Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Batterieabdeckung fest sitzt – nur handfest anziehen. Reinigen Sie die Linse mit einem Linsenpapier/tuch (siehe Sicherheitshinweis unten) und wischen Sie das Visier so schnell wie möglich trocken, nachdem es Feuchtigkeit ausgesetzt war. Das Visier ist nicht wasserdicht oder spritzwassergeschützt.
VORSICHT: Um Kratzer auf dem Glas zu vermeiden, sollten die Linsen niemals mit den Fingern, sondern mit Linsenpapier oder einem Tuch gereinigt werden.
· Lose Ablagerungen (Sand, Gras usw.) können mit einem weichen Pinsel oder Druckluft entfernt werden, bevor Sie Linsenpapier oder ein weiches, sauberes Tuch verwenden.

Può essere montato direttamente su carrelli compatibili (o attacchi per accessori) con il footprint del Leupold DeltaPoint® Pro, oppure può essere montato su slitte per accessori utilizzando l’attacco Weaver a profilo basso incluso. Il reticolo illuminato del mirino è pre-focalizzato in modo che il punto di mira appaia sempre a fuoco sul bersaglio. Al contrario, i mirini aperti costringono a mettere a fuoco la visuale solo sulla tacca di mira, sul mirino o sul bersaglio, o ad accontentarsi di una visuale sfocata.
La vista umana è concepita per l’utilizzo di entrambi gli occhi aperti (l’estrazione pupillare è illimitata). Ciò aumenta la consapevolezza dell’ambiente circostante da parte del tiratore e garantisce un’acquisizione più rapida del bersaglio, grazie al design a parallasse limitato, poiché il punto segue il movimento dell’occhio dell’utente rimanendo fisso sul bersaglio. Il nuovo mirino, nonostante sia dotato di funzioni e design di tecnologia avanzata, non funzionerà al meglio se non viene installato correttamente. Uno dei più importanti fattori che determinano la precisione della combinazione tra arma da fuoco e mirino è costituito dalla qualità dell’attacco e dalla cura con cui si procede all’installazione. Il mirino 1x25MM Red Dot si adatta a tutte le basi compatibili con i mirini Leupold® DeltaPoint® Pro*. Include anche una base a profilo basso per il montaggio su slitte per accessori di tipo Weaver o Picatinny. Assicurarsi che la base di montaggio sia stata realizzata appositamente per la pistola, la carabina o il fucile utilizzati. Assicurarsi che la base di montaggio sia installata correttamente e fissata saldamente secondo le istruzioni del produttore per la propria sicurezza.

La base dovrebbe creare una piattaforma di montaggio orizzontale e verticale uniforme. Accertarsi che la base di montaggio sia installata correttamente e fissata saldamente secondo le istruzioni del produttore per la propria sicurezza. Il mirino 1x25MM Red Dot non ha un’estrazione pupillare fissa, pertanto, si dovrebbe lasciare uno spazio di almeno 7-8 centimetri tra la lente e l’occhio quando ci si trova nella posizione di tiro. Sebbene i mirini con potenza/ingrandimento 1X abbiano un’estrazione pupillare illimitata, assicurarsi che ci sia uno spazio adeguato tra il viso e l’ottica per tenere conto del rinculo dell’arma da fuoco.
Se si monta direttamente su una piastra adattatrice (comune per pistole optics ready), seguire le istruzioni del produttore per fissare la piastra adattatrice. Se non diversamente specificato dal produttore di terze parti, assicurarsi di rimuovere qualsiasi spazio libero caricando delicatamente in avanti la piastra durante il fissaggio. Quando si collega il mirino a punto rosso alla piastra adattatrice, caricare delicatamente in avanti il corpo del mirino durante il fissaggio. Ciò elimina il gioco che potrebbe altrimenti spostarsi con il rinculo e migliora la possibilità di un montaggio ripetibile nel caso in cui il mirino a punto rosso debba essere rimosso per qualsiasi motivo, come la manutenzione.
Se si utilizza l’attacco incluso, allentare la vite sull’attacco del mirino utilizzando la brugola esagonale fornita, in modo che la barra di bloccaggio possa fissarsi alla slitta. Posizionare l’attacco sulla slitta in modo da inserire il perno cross-bolt nella scanalatura. Caricare in avanti l’attacco in modo da agganciare il perno cross-bolt nella parte anteriore della scanalatura, eliminando il gioco. Stringere il bullone esagonale. ATTENZIONE: Non forzare. Serrare le due viti tra il mirino e la base a una coppia di 12-15 lbfin (libbra-forza pollice) e il perno cross-bolt della base a 20 lbf*in.
Tenere presente che non tutti i mirini o cannocchiali sono compatibili con tutti gli attacchi su tutte le armi da fuoco. In caso di dubbio, chiedere consiglio al rivenditore o armaiolo di fiducia.
INSTALLAZIONE DELLA BATTERIA
Prima di accendere il mirino per la prima volta, è necessario attivare la batteria al litio CR2032 installata rimuovendo il disco di plastica protettivo che ricopre la batteria. Allentare la vite sul lato destro del coperchio della batteria (vedi foto a destra). La vite viene sostenuta da una guarnizione che consente di mantenerla in posizione. Nota: Sulla vite e il relativo foro sullo sportello è presente una svasatura che consente alla vite di arrivare a filo del coperchio. Quando si riposiziona il coperchio dopo l’attivazione o la sostituzione della batteria, verificare che la linguetta all’estremità del coperchio (sul lato opposto alla vite), sia inserita nell’apposito alloggiamento prima di inserire la vite. Rimuovere il disco di plastica. Riposizionare il coperchio della batteria. Riposizionare e avvitare la vite.
Verificare che il punto rosso sia acceso e funzionante accendendo il dispositivo e, se necessario, aumentando la luminosità.
SOSTITUZIONE DELLA BATTERIA
Se la luce del reticolo dovesse attenuarsi o non accendersi, sostituire la batteria seguendo la procedura di installazione sopra descritta.

ACCENSIONE E SPEGNIMENTO
Per accendere il mirino, premere il pulsante Luminosità “Su” o “Giù” per 1 secondo, quindi rilasciare. Per spegnere il mirino, tenere premuto per 3 secondi il pulsante Luminosità “Giù”.
REGOLAZIONE DELLA LUMINOSITÀ DEL PUNTO
Per regolare il livello di intensità del reticolo con punto, premere il pulsante Luminosità “Su” per aumentare la luminosità oppure premere Luminosità “Giù” per ridurla. Il mirino 1x25MM Red Dot consente di impostare 8 livelli di luminosità, dalla più fioca a quella più accesa. Ciascuna pressione dei pulsanti Su o Giù aumenterà o diminuirà la luminosità di un livello. I due livelli più alti sono visibili anche in condizioni di piena luce diurna. Nota: i livelli più alti sono spesso troppo intensi per condizioni di ambienti scuri o al chiuso e causeranno dei riflessi prodotti dal pacchetto LED. Questo è normale e, se dovesse verificarsi, è necessario ridurre il livello di luminosità per compensare.

Il puntamento iniziale del mirino 1x25MM Red Dot può essere effettuato utilizzando un collimatore secondo le indicazioni del produttore, o mediante allineamento visivo del calibro attraverso la canna di un fucile con l’otturatore rimosso come segue, facendo riferimento a un bersaglio a una distanza di 25-50 iarde (7-15 iarde per le pistole. Un’alternativa per i sistemi montati su pistola è l’utilizzo di mire metalliche come riferimento per l’allineamento iniziale/punto approssimativo). Il puntamento del calibro deve essere effettuato presso un poligono e non a casa, sia per motivi di sicurezza, sia per la comodità di poter confermare il puntamento finale con proiettili veri mentre ci si trova nel poligono.
Se si presta la necessaria attenzione per assicurarsi che tutti gli adattatori per il montaggio e il mirino a punto rosso siano stati posizionati in posizione avanzata e fissati come indicato, lo spostamento indesiderato del punto di mira dovuto al montaggio risulterà trascurabile.
1. Con il mirino installato, poggiare l’arma su un supporto adatto. Accendere il mirino e regolare la luminosità fino ad avere il punto facilmente visibile.
2. Iniziare a mirare lungo la canna e puntare un bersaglio posizionato a una distanza tra 25 e 50 iarde (7-15 iarde per le pistole). Guardare attraverso il mirino 1x25MM Red Dot e ruotare delicatamente le regolazioni di alzo e/o deriva usando lo strumento in dotazione per allineare il punto rosso al bersaglio, come visualizzato lungo la canna. Le regolazioni sono stabili, con 1 MOA per scatto e 30 MOA per rotazione completa.
3. Sparare quindi un colpo di prova per determinare il punto di impatto dell’arma. Se non si colpisce il punto mirato (il centro del bersaglio), effettuare una regolazione ruotando le viti di alzo e deriva nella direzione in cui si desidera spostare l’impatto.
È possibile effettuare il puntamento finale dopo aver allineato il mirino 1x25MM Red Dot al calibro, come descritto in precedenza. Caricare le stesse munizioni che si intende utilizzare più spesso con il mirino.
4. Ripetere il passaggio 3, regolando quanto necessario, per allineare il punto di impatto con il punto di mira.
5. Dopo aver ottenuto un allineamento di base soddisfacente, si consiglia di ripetere il passaggio 3, ma utilizzando il centro di 3 o 5 serie di colpi, come stima generale per la conferma dell’allineamento.
FUNZIONAMENTO IN CONDIZIONI ESTREME
· Caldo intenso (umido o secco): non sono necessarie particolari procedure. Se possibile, evitare l’esposizione prolungata.
· Freddo intenso: temperature molto basse potrebbero accorciare la durata della batteria.
· Salsedine: come per le armi da fuoco, assicurarsi che venga mantenuto un sottile strato d’olio su tutti i componenti metallici esposti (es. elementi di fissaggio).
· Tempeste di polvere e di sabbia: mantenere il mirino coperto quando non è in uso.
· Assicurarsi che il coperchio della batteria sia fissato in modo sicuro in posizione e avvitato solamente a mano. Pulire le lenti con carta o panno per lenti (vedere le avvertenze sotto) e strofinare a secco il mirino il prima possibile dopo l’esposizione a qualsiasi forma di umidità. Il mirino non è impermeabile, né a prova di schizzi.
ATTENZIONE: le lenti non devono mai essere pulite con le dita ma con carta o panno per lenti per evitare di graffiare il vetro.
· Utilizzare un pennello morbido o l’aria compressa per rimuovere eventuali detriti (sabbia, erba, ecc.) prima di utilizzare la carta per lenti o un panno morbido e pulito.

RISOLUZIONE DEI PROBLEMI
Problema: il punto rosso non si vede Possibili cause/soluzioni: · Batteria scarica: sostituire la batteria con una nuova batteria al litio CR2032. · Batteria installata in modo errato: rimuovere e riposizionare la batteria con i poli orientati nel modo corretto, facendo
riferimento ai segni “negativo in alto/positivo in basso” posizionati nella parte superiore e inferiore del coperchio del vano batteria (vedi la foto Guida ai componenti). · La batteria non fa contatto: pulire le superfici dei contatti e reinstallare la batteria. Problema: Impossibile eseguire la taratura Possibili cause/soluzioni: · La vite di regolazione è arrivata al limite: Controllare l’allineamento del supporto con la canna. Nota: alcune slitte non originali (imbullonate o non apposite per armi) posizionano il mirino troppo in alto rispetto al calibro e possono causare dei problemi. Questo è stato osservato in alcune applicazioni su rivoltelle. · Il punto di impatto si sposta: controllare tutti i collegamenti tra il mirino e gli accessori. Verificare che l’arma e le munizioni funzionino correttamente.
