SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS (FIG. 02)

WARNING!
Consult your doctor before starting to exercise. This is especially important for people with health problems.
Read all instructions before using the machine.
VirtuFit assumes no responsibility for injury or property damage resulting from the use of this equipment.

Please read this manual carefully before assembling and/or using the machine.

  • Wear a life jacket.
  • Use by minors (under 14 years) under adult supervision.
  • Check the air pressure before use.
  • Do not use a high-pressure pump, as this may cause cracks.
  • Do not fill the item beyond what is indicated in the manual.
  • Do not inflate with hot air.
  • Do not use the item in rapids and large waves.
  • Do not use the product in water from the shore.
  • Make sure you are no more than 150 m from the water’s edge.
  • Do not use the product in strong winds or out of sight of the shore.
  • Make sure you keep your balance when using the product.
  • The maximum user weight is 150 kg.
  • Never go further than 300 metres from a mooring or shore.
  • This SUP board is suitable for use in fresh and salt water.
  • Use all included accessories.
  • Read the manual before use.

The warranty period for this product is 2 years from the date of purchase. The warranty is only valid when this item is used for normal recreational use and activities and does not cover items used for rental.

Warranty claims are excluded if the cause of the defect is due to:

  • If an item or part is found to be defective by VirtuFit, the warranty covers the repair or replacement of the defective item or part only. VirtuFit is not responsible for any costs, losses or damages incurred as a result of the loss or use of this product.
  • This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, normal wear and tear, damage caused by excessive heat exposure, damage caused by improper handling and storage, damage caused by use in waves or breakage on shore, defective supboards caused by falls or accidents in surfing conditions, and damage caused by anything other than defects in material and workmanship.
  • This item must not be modified and/or fitted with a motor. –
  • This item must not be used in excess of the maximum recommended weight for the user.
  • This warranty is void if any unauthorized repair, alteration or modification has been made to any part of the supboard.
  • The warranty for repaired or replacement parts is valid from the date of original purchase.
  • In case of improper use, negligence and/or lack of maintenance.
  • Failure to maintain the item in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Missing parts : If any parts are missing from the packaging, please check the packaging and the item carefully. Some parts are already attached to the item.

Inflation

  • Unscrew the valve cap.
  • Press the knob and turn it about 90 degrees so that it is in the “OUT” position.
  • Place the air pump nozzle on the valve and inflate until you reach the required pressure (maximum 1 bar/15 PSI).
  • After inflation, tighten the valve cap (clockwise). Make sure that the valve cap is properly tightened, otherwise the valve will not be completely sealed.

CAUTION!

  • The maximum pressure allowed is 1 bar (15 PSI).
  • The sup board is only completely sealed if the valve cap is properly tightened.


Attach the fin

Lay the supboard flat on the ground and attach the fins to the supboard.

STORAGE

CAUTION! Store the supboard in a dry and clean room. Make sure that the board is completely dry before storing it and that no sand or gravel remains on the board or between the cracks. This can cause wear and tear or even leakage of the supboard during storage.

  • Unscrew the valve cap and deflate the supboard.
  • Clean and check the supboard and all accessories.
  • When the supboard is empty, roll it up from the other end until all the air is out.
  • Make sure the board is completely dry before storing it.

PADDLE POSITION

NOTE! The paddle can be extended.

REPAIRING A LEAK

NOTE! Perform all repairs in a well ventilated area. Avoid inhalation of toxic fumes and contact with skin or eyes. Keep all repair materials out of reach of children.

  • Lay the supboard flat on the ground and check if the board has completely deflated.
  • Prepare a round repair patch with a diameter of at least 7 centimetres.
  • Clean the repair patch and the area around the leak with alcohol.
  • Tape the area around the leak with masking tape to catch the excess adhesive.
  • Apply 3 thin, even coats of repair adhesive to the leak area and the repair patch. Wait 5 minutes between each coat.
  • After the third coat, wait 10 to 15 minutes before applying the repair adhesive.
  • Use a hand roller to apply the repair adhesive evenly.
  • Wait 24 hours before inflating the supboard.

NOTE! Make sure that the edges of the repair patch are well compressed so that the leak is properly sealed.
