CORRECT USE OF THE NARDI HOOKAH COMPRESSOR WITH PETROL ENGINE

NARDI COMPRESSORI kindly asks you to read the following instructions and to follow them carefully before you start using the machine in order to avail yourself of its potentialities without endangering your safety or damaging the compressor.

Safety Precautions

Strictly observe the following safety measures:
Move the compressor by suitable means to avoid an excessive effort to your upper and lower limbs.
In case of prolonged use, protectors such as earphones are recommended.
Do not move the compressor while in operation, avoid causing health risks due to exposure to vibrations of limbs (hand-arm).
Do not tamper with the compressor, if you need to perform maintenance or any repair contact your supplier immediately.
Do not use in closed environments with a limited circulation of air.
Do not use the compressor near flames or heat sources, and keep away from kids and animals.
Please avoid a prolonged exposure of the machine under direct sun rays; the suggested working temperature should be between +5 and +50 ° C.

Keep away from children and animals at all times.
Do not use the compressor in dusty environments.
Do not tamper with its safety devices and regulation.

Starting the machine:
Make sure no damages due to carelessness or negligence occurred during transportation, before you start the machine. If this should be the case, notify the dealer or transportation company immediately. After having checked the compressor observe the following instructions:
The compressor is equipped with an air flow adjuster which enables the operator to control the working pressure. Said pressure can be visualised on the manometer.
Before starting the petrol engine make sure the air hose is not under pressure and the air outlet fitting is open.

  • Remove the electric cable and insert the plug in a current collector of adequate power.
Make sure if fits tightly and it ensures the connection of the poles of the plug to the grounding.
Make sure the mesh voltage corresponds to the value indicated on the table of the fairing.

  • To help the electric motor start, make sure the air hose in not under pressure and the air outlet cock is open.

  • Turn ON the on-off switch

  • Unscrew the black lever positioned next to the breaker valve so that the compressor can start without strain;

  • Screw black lever (next to the breaker valve)

  • The compressor will now reach its set working pressure.

Turning OFF the machine:

  • Check manometer to ensure that compressor is at its max pressure before turning OFF the compressor.
  • Release the air from the tank by screwing the black lever (next to breaker valve)
  • Turn the ON-OFF switch to OFF.

DO NOT STOP the engine while the compressor air tank is under pressure.

Maintenance:
Unscrew filter and clean it periodically by an air jet moving from the center to the outside.
Because of the compressor and rapid expansion of the air inside the tank, the humidity in the air condensates. It is therefore necessary to periodically discharge the condensate from the tank by unscrewing the drain plug and slightly tilting the tank.
Replace filter cartridge as soon as you feel that the air is smelly, approximately every 20/30hrs.
Warranty. The compressor is guaranteed for a period of 12 months against any manufacturing failure.
It is important to keep to original purchasing receipt as a proof for the validity of the warranty. The date on the original data sticker on the compressor is valid for the warranty time calculation. DO NOT REMOVE DATA STICKER – THIS WOULD NULLIFY WARRANY RIGHTS.
Use the compressor as indicated in this booklet and only for the purpose it has been designed for by the manufacturer. The warranty covers only the replacement of those parts which are faulty because of any assembly or manufacturing defects. All transportation or operation fees are charged to clients.

Recycling:
The compressor must be scrapped according to disposal norms in the country where it will be disposed of.

NARDI COMPRESSORI thanks you for respecting the environment.
