Pickling Bat| Avesta Pickling Bath 302
Pre-clean before pickling, remove oil and grease using Avesta Cleaner 401, and then rinse off with water.
Before first use , mix the bath with water, proportion depending on the steel to be treated.
Stir or shake before use. Leave to work for 1 to 4 hours depending on pickling product type and condition of the bath.
Rinse off, preferably using a high-pressure water jet. Treat the wastewater before discharge.| |

Passivator| Avesta FinishOne Passivator 630
After pickling and rinsing, the passivator should be applied as soon as the surface is wet.
Leave the fluid to react for 30 min to 1 hour.
Rinse off with clean water, first pre-clean using Avesta Cleaner 401, and then rinse off with water.
Apply by spraying or dipping and leave to react for 5-15 min.
Rinse off, preferably using a high-pressure water jet. Treat the wastewater from Passivator 630 before discharge.| |

Neutraliser| Avesta Neutraliser 502
Add the neutraliser to the rinse water, resulting from pickling, while stirring until pH 6-9 is achieved.
Check the pH with pH paper. Optimum precipitation of heavy metals (Cr/Ni) is achieved at pH 9.
The neutralised clear water and the remaining sludge should be sent for deposition according to local regulations.| |
