READ THE FOLLOWING SAFETY PRECAUTIONS BEFORE USING YOUR WIRELESS CHARGER
- Metal and Other Foreign Objects: Do not place items containing metals, such as keys, magnets, coins, batteries, or jewelry, between the wireless charger and a mobile device. Detach from the mobile device PopSockets PopTops containing metal (including, but not limited to, Enamel, Aluminum, Backspin, Pressed Flower, and metal rimmed premium PopTops). These objects will prevent the wireless charger from operating and may overheat. Materials with magnetic strips or radiofrequency identification (RFID), such as credit cards, entry keycards, passports, and driver’s licenses, should not be placed between the wireless charger and a mobile device. These items may be damaged by the magnetic field generated by the wireless charger. Accessory wallets, including the PopSockets PopWallet, must be detached from mobile devices prior to charging. Cosmetics and wax products, such as makeup, lip balm, and candles, should not be placed on the wireless charger during or after charging. Normal charging temperatures may cause these materials to melt.
- Environment: Use indoors, out of direct sunlight, in a dry and ventilated location. It is recommended to use your wireless charger on a hard, flat surface such as a countertop, table, or desk. Do not place the wireless charger or power adapter under blankets, pillows, or other insulating materials while connected to power. This may cause the device to overheat. Do not use the wireless charger in an explosive environment where high concentrations of flammable dust, powder, gas, vapors, particles, or liquid droplets are in the air.
- Water and Conductive Materials: Do not expose the wireless charger or power adapter to moisture or conductive materials, such as liquids, metal dust, or pencil shavings. Keep power ports free of foreign metal objects. Do not use the wireless charger or power adapter near sinks, showers, or bathtubs, and do not operate with wet hands. Exposure to water or conductive materials may result in electric shock, injury, fire, or damage to the device or other property.
- Handling: Your wireless charger has internal components that may be damaged if the device or its accessories are roughly handled, compressed, punctured, subjected to high impacts, or exposed to liquids. Handle with care. Keep out of reach of small children and animals. This product is intended for adult use only. Handling by small children or animals may cause device damage or personal injury. If you experience problems with your wireless charger or suspect damage, immediately discontinue product use. Misuse can cause electric shock.
- Power Adapter: Your wireless charger is intended to be used with the original QC 3.0 adapter you received with the product. Failure to use the PopSockets power adapter may result in a safety hazard or damage to the device. For safe operation, plug the power adapter into a nearby power outlet that is easily unplugged. Immediately discontinue product use if there is damage to the power adapter prongs or USB connectors, if the cord becomes cut, deformed, or frayed, if the power adapter has been dropped or damaged, or if liquid is spilled or otherwise exposed to the power adapter.
- Modification: Do not disassemble the wireless charger or power adapter. Do not modify or attempt to re-purpose the device. Do not service the device or replace any components.
