Before First Use:
Before using the coffee/tea maker for the first time, follow these steps:
- Wash, rinse, and dry the coffee/tea maker carefully.
Instructions for Use:
- Remove the plunger and warm the glass coffee pot by rinsing it with hot water.
- Add ground coffee (preferably coarsely ground) or tea.
- Top up with water to a level just below the spout. For the best flavor, use water just below boiling.
- Put the plunger in place without pressing it down. Leave it under the lid for a minute to mix coffee/tea and water.
- Hold the handle and slowly press the plunger down.
- If the plunger is difficult to push down, remove it and plunge down vertically again.

Important
- Make sure there are no cracks in the glass pot.
- The coffee/ tea maker is not safe to use on a hot plate, gas ring or ceramic hob.
