FAQs

When can the device be located?

If a device is out of range for a certain period, it can be found by other Apple devices that are part of the Find My network. You can have the location displayed in the app.

How does the device prevent unwanted tracking?

If there is an unfamiliar Smart Tag in your area, your iPhone recognizes it and notifies you. If a Smart Tag is not detected, it plays a sound to make it easier to find. Note You do not have to worry about being constantly notified or a Smart Tag playing sounds. The notifications are only activated when the Smart Tag is no longer in the vicinity of its owner.

How is my privacy protected?

Only you can see where your Smart Tag is unless you consciously share your location in the Find My App. The location data and history are not stored on the Smart Tag itself. Apple devices that transmit the location of the Smart Tag also remain anonymous.

How do I replace the battery?

Open the battery compartment of the device. Replace the battery with a new CR2032 battery. Make sure the polarity is correct. Close the battery compartment and press the device button for 5 seconds to restart it.

What is the Find My Network?

The Find My community is made up of millions of iPhone, iPad and Mac users around the world. Nearby Smart Tags are localized by the community and their location is transmitted to iCloud so that the owners of the Tags can see the location in the Find My app. The Apple Find My network provides an easy, secure way to locate Qeridoo Smart Tag using the Find My app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac, or the Find Items app on Apple Watch.

How do I know if my Qeridoo Smart Tag is in pairing mode?

After removing the device from the app, a signal tone sounds and the light flashes six times. If not paired again within 10 minutes, it will exit pairing mode. Pressing the device button once will emit a signal tone and flash the LED once, indicating it is ready to pair.

Where can I find the pocket for the Smart Tag on my Kidgoo 2024?

The small pocket for the Smart Tag is located behind the removable inner pocket on the right-hand side of the Kidgoo 2024.
