Note, when you use the first time or resume use after a long time, it is recommended to make the following procedure. The electrode can be submerged in RO or distilled water for a few hours and cleaned.

pH tester structure

  1. The battery compartment contains two battery LR44.
  2. LCD Display -shows the pH level.
  3. On/Off button. Turning the tester on and off.
  4. Calibration button. Turning on the calibration function.
  5. Glass probe. pH sensor for measuring pH level.
  6. Protective cup Protective cover for sensor
  • A typical phenomenon of the PH electrode Is the appearance of white crystalline salt around the electrode of the PH meter. Because measured solutions are drying, salt is deposited on the sensor’s surface. The electrode can be submerged in RO or distilled water for a few hours and cleaning it.
  • The value bounces erratically when the PH meter is turned on in the air, which is a common occurrence. It is impossible to utilize the value in the air as a reference

How to use

  1. Remove the protective cover
  2. Turn on the tester
  3. Place in water on IMMERSION LINE.
  4. Stir gently and wait until a stable reading can be obtained.
  5. Peruse readings without removing the tester from the liquid.
  6. Don’t forget to rinse the sensor in clear water.

Calibration

There are three options for the calibration of the pH tester.

  1. Calibration by one-point. In this case, the accuracy will be 0.5pH
  2. Calibration by the two-point. In that case, the accuracy will be 0.2pH.
  3. Calibration by the three-point. In that case, the accuracy will be 0.1pH.

Create a 6.86 pH solution. Take 250 ml of distilled or RO water.Open the pack (6.86pH) and completely dissolve all powder. (There shouldn’t be left powder in the pack and at the bottom of a glass)

  1. Remove the protective cap.
  2. First, rinse the electrode with distilled water, then suck it with filter paper.
  3. Turn on the pH tester by pressing the “ON/OFF” button.
  4. Immerse the pH tester’ in the solution (6.86pH) and wait for over 5 min. (CAN NOT BE OVER THE IMMERSION LINE)
  5. Stir gently for ten seconds, and press “CAL” to see the displaying number going to 5, then release to find the 6.86pH calibration point.
  6. The display starts flashing 6.86. You have to wait until the flashing stops before taking the tester out of the solution.
  7. Calibration was ended. Don’t forget to rinse the electrode with distilled water, then suck it with filter paper after calibration.

The two-point calibration.
Create 4.00 and 9.18 pH solutions. Take two glasses of 250 ml of distilled or RO water. Open the pack (4.00pH) and completely dissolve all powder. (There shouldn’t be left powder in the pack and at the bottom of a glass). Do the same for the 9.18pH solution, using the 9.18pH pack.

4.00pH calibration

  1. Remove the protective cap.
  2. First, rinse the electrode with distilled water, then suck it with filter paper.
  3. Turn on the pH tester by pressing the “ON/OFF” button.
  4. Immerse the pH tester’ in the solution (4.00pH) and wait for over 5 min. (CAN NOT BE OVER THE IMMERSION LINE)
  5. Stir gently for ten seconds, and press “CAL” to see the displaying number going to 5, and release, then SHORT PRESS at the button of “CAL” ONE TIME and release to find the 4.00pH calibration point.
  6. The display starts flashing at 4.00. You have to wait until the flashing stops before taking the tester out of the solution.
  7. Calibration was ended. Don’t forget to rinse the electrode with distilled water, then suck it with filter paper.

9.18pH calibration

  1. Remove the protective cap.
  2. First, rinse the electrode with distilled water, then suck it with filter paper.
  3. Turn on the pH tester by pressing the “ON/OFF” button.
  4. Immerse the pH tester’ in the solution (9.18pH) and wait for over 5 min. (CAN NOT BE OVER THE IMMERSION LINE)
  5. Stir gently for ten seconds, and press “CAL” to see the displaying number going to 5, and release, then SHORT PRESS at the button of “CAL” TWO TIMES and release to find the 9.18pH calibration point.
  6. The display starts flashing at 9.18. You have to wait until the flashing stops before taking the tester out of the solution.
  7. Calibration was ended. Don’t forget to rinse the electrode with distilled water, then suck it with filter paper.

The three-point calibration.
You have to make all that contains in one and two points calibration. Note that you can find the manual on the website by following the link below or using the provided barcode. https://www.divolightgroup.com/phtester
