OPERATION
- Remove protective cap.
- Turn the tester on by pressing the «ON/OFF» button.
- Choose a testing mode by short-pressing the MODE/CAL button.
- Inmerse the tester sensor in the test solution,
- Stir gently and wait until the reading stabilizes.
- Short press the HOLD/TEMP button.
The readings will be frozen.
*You can pull out the tester from the solution for comfortable readings.
Before using.
Recommend immersing the sensor in distilled or RO water for at least 5 hours
if you just received the tester or didn’t use it for a long time.
After using.
Don’t forget to rinse the sensors in pure water and blot them with filter
paper.
CALIBRATION pH
-
Prepare the pH solutions.
-
Turn on the tester
-
Choose pH mode short pushing the MODE/CAL button. In the display, there must be a sign of the pH .
(not ps/cm or μpm or SALT or % or mV or S.G) -
Immerse the tester in the solution (4.00 or 6.86 or 9.18 pH) and wait for over 20-30 sec.
(Don’t lower the tester in solution lower than IMMERSION LINE) -
Long pressing the MODE/CAL button (6 sec). The tester automatically chooses the type of solution (4.00, 6.86, or 9.18pH) and will flash.
-
When flashing off, calibration in this pH grade was completed.
You can calibrate with other solutions by repeating points one to 6.
CALIBRATION EC/TDS/SALT
-
Prepare the EC solutions (Use 1413 us/cm for the first point, 12.88 mS/cm for the second point, and 111.8 mS/cm for the third)
-
Tum on the Tester
-
Choose EC mode by short-pushing the MODE/CAL button. The display must have a sign of the ps/cm.
-
Immerse the tester in the solution and wait for over 20-30 sec.
(Don’t lower the tester in solution lower than IMMERSION LINE.) -
Long pressing the MODE/CAL button (6 sec). The tester switches to CAL (calibration mode)
-
You must manually set a reading to 1413 (for the first point) by pressing the Up or Down buttons, long or short.
-
When flashing goes off, calibration EC is completed.
Note 1: You can make similar steps for other solutions.
Note 2: The Tester automatically calibrates TDS and SALINITY when proceeding with EC calibration.
