Product Usage Instructions

Step 1: Collect Specimen

  1. A. Wipe the finger with an alcohol pad.
  2. B. Prick the finger using a sterile lancet.
  3. C. Remove the first drop of blood.
  4. D. Collect blood using the pipette. Do not squeeze the bulb on the pipette. Allow the blood to flow into the pipette on its own. Milk the finger.

Step 2: Run the Test

  1. A. Add blood to the sample well by squeezing the bulb on the pipette.
  2. B. Slowly add four (4) drops of diluent to the sample well.
  3. C. Set a timer for 10 minutes.
  4. D. Read results no sooner than 10 minutes and no later than 15 minutes. Any line in the ‘T’ zone, even if faint, accompanied by a line in the ‘C’ zone should be interpreted as a positive result.

Note: Well will turn red. Allow blood to be absorbed.

USING INSTRUCTION

  • C. Remove the first drop of blood.
  • D. Collect blood using a pipette.

DO NOT SQUEEZE THE BULB ON THE PIPETTE!

  • Allow the blood to flow into the pipette on its own.
  • “Milk” finger.
  • Hold pipette horizontally, touch tip to sample.

Step 2: Run the test

  • A. Add blood to the sample well by squeezing the bulb on the pipette.
  • B. Slowly add four (4) drops of diluent to the sample well.
  • C. Set a timer for 10 minutes.
  • D. Read results no sooner than 10 minutes, and no later than 15 minutes.
    Any line in the ‘T’ zone, even if faint, accompanied by a line in the ‘C’ zone should be interpreted as a positive result.
