Turn Bluetooth On / Off – Samsung Galaxy J1

1. From a Home screen, navigate:  Apps    >  Settings.
    These instructions apply to Standard mode only.

2. Tap  Bluetooth.

3. Tap the  Bluetooth switch  (upper-right) to turn on   or off  .
    Your Samsung Galaxy J1™ is visible to other devices as long as the Bluetooth® settings screen is open and Bluetooth is turned on.

4. With Bluetooth turned on, from the Paired devices section, tap the device name.
    By default, the device is visible for 2 minutes. To adjust the length of time your device is discoverable:

5. Tap the  Menu icon    upper-right).

6. Tap  Visibility timeout.

7. Tap one of the following:

  * 2 minutes
  * 5 minutes
  * 1 hour
