MeCam Date And Time Instruction Manual

To set the MeCam date and time stamp follow these directions

1. In the root of the removable drive (MeCam drive that pops up on your computer when MeCam is plugged in) create a time.txt file (make sure to do this in the root of the removable drive, not the DCIM drive) Do this by right clicking while in the removable drive and select -àNew -à Text Document.
2. Save and name this file, time.txt When Notepad opens, type the current date & time per this example: For 3:12pm, Feb 04, 2013, type: 2013-02-04 15:12:01
3. File contents must be in format: yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss
4. Exit Notepad and save the file. Disconnect and reconnect the USB cable. Record a short amount of video

The time.txt file has been installed and is no longer visible.
