PiCO Home is a smart air quality monitor that allows you to monitor your
living environment anywhere and anytime. It measure PM 2.5, PM 10,
temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide, and VOCs. It also offers weather
information and useful recommendations depending on where you are.
Additionally, it works with AI speakers like Alexa.

Other| In order to generate accurate readings of VOCs, 20 minutes of
conditioning period is required. Users can get the accurate readings of VOCs
after running PiCO Home for 20 minutes.
Minimum Requirements
These requirements must be met to enjoy PiCO Home’s many features:
- Internet access via Wi-Fi (2.4GHz only)
- A smartphone with Bluetooth 4.0 or higher
- OS version of :
- iOS : 10.0 or higher
- Android : 4.4 or higher
- External power supply
- DC adapter, external battery, or smartphone with OTG function.
- Power can also be supplied through Type-C USB Cable or OTG Cables.
Precautions for Use and Storage
You may inflict injury upon yourself or cause damages to the product if you do
not comply with the warnings below.
• Pressure/impact
Do not inflict pressure to the product or drop it. The pressure and impact may
cause damage to the outer and inner parts of the product.
• Water
This product is not waterproof. The product may not function properly if you
drop it in the water or leave it in the rain.
• Remodel/Disassemble/Fix
Do not remodel, disassemble, or fix this product on your own. Doing so will
nullify the warranty and you may not be able to receive customer service.
• Storage
Do not leave this product in a damp place. Store it in a dry and cool place.

How to Use PiCO Home
1. Download and install the app
Search and download “PiCO Home” from the Google Play or Apple App store.
2. Turning on PiCO Home
You may power PiCO Home via the power plug, with smartphone, or external
battery.
Press the button for at least 3 seconds to set up (dark blue color – to set up) after power is supplied to turn PiCO Home on.
For subsequent power up after setting up PiCO Home, gently push the button
less than 3 seconds (white color –
standby).
How to use PiCO Home
3. log in to PiCO Home
Sign in using your social media accounts or register with an email address.
Then, connect to either Wi-Fi (2.4GHz only) or Bluetooth (4.0) to set up PiCO
Home.
4. Use PiCO Home
After signing in and set up successfully, proceed to check and manage the air
quality around you.
5. Turning PiCO Home Off
Push the button to power off or simply unplug the USB cable.
6. LED colors indicating fine dust levels
• White: Basic status (standby), waiting for connection
• Purple: Firmware is updating
Communication Settings

Using PiCO Home with Bluetooth (4.0)
- Push the power button (at least 3 seconds) to turn it on and then connect PiCO Home with Bluetooth. The LED color be dark blue.
- After setting up, for subsequent power ups, gently push the power button (less than 3 seconds). The LED color will be white (standby), meaning it is searching for Wi-Fi.
- If PiCO Home has previously been set up in another way, push the power button for 3 seconds to reset and then connect it using Bluetooth.

Using PiCO Home with Wi-Fi
- Press the power button (at least 3 seconds) to turn on and then connect to Wi-Fi.
- If you want to connect to a new Wi-Fi connection, push the power button for 3 seconds again to reset (blue color should appear), and then proceed with the new Wi-Fi setup.

Q. Where is PiCO Home developed and manufactured?
PiCO Home is designed and produced in Seoul, the Republic of Korea.
Q. Does PiCO Home requires an external power supply to operate?
Yes. PiCO Home does not have an internal battery, so it needs to be plugged
onto a smartphone, an external battery, or via a USB-C cable.
Q. Can a PiCO device be connected to many smartphones at the same time?
No. A PiCO Home can only be connected to one smartphone at a time. However,
you can register other users on the same PiCO mobile app and check what PiCO
Home is picking up in real-time from anywhere.
Q. Can I use PiCO Home mobile app without a PiCO Home device?
Yes. With the mobile app alone, you can still check the outdoor air quality,
weather information, weather forecasts, and other environmental information.
Q. Can I use PiCO Home App and device anywhere in the world?
Yes. PiCO Home connects to satellites and weather stations all over the world.
This gives you the power and convenience to check out the real-time air
quality and other environmental information anywhere in the world.
Q. Can PiCO Home still monitor the air quality if Bluetooth or Wi-Fi stops
working?
Yes. The sensor still works even if the Wi-Fi or Bluetooth is disconnected,
but it must be after the phone has been connected to PiCO Home for the first
time. You can check the level of air quality through the colors of the LED on
either side of the device. PiCO Home stores the historical data for 1 month.
Q: What’s the sensor’s approximate lifespan and should it be replaced
periodically?
As long as PiCO Home is not exposed to extreme conditions, the sensor’s
performance can last up to 5 years. Therefore, it’s not necessary to replace
the sensors periodically within the product’s lifespan.
Q. Why are the PM 2.5/10 levels monitored by PiCO Home different from other
internet service providers?
PiCO Home measures the specific real-time air quality of the user’s actual
location rather than the combined average. So, the levels may differ from the
data provided by governmental institutions or companies in many countries.
Q. Can I use the information from PiCO Home to interpret in a medical
way?
No. the PiCO Home App and Alexa offer air quality information and
recommendations, but it is NOT a medical device. The PiCO Home device and
mobile app is NOT intended to be used as a source of medical advice. You
should always consult medical professionals to provide specific guidance in
evaluating your medical needs.
Q. How often is the PiCO Home mobile app upgraded?
The PiCO Home mobile app is upgraded continuously in order to maintain
accuracy and enhance the user experience and usability.
Q. Where do the outdoor air quality and other environmental information
like UV come from?
This information comes from governmental institutions such as the Korea
Environment Corporation, from global big-data service providers.
Q. Can I use another USB cable other than the one provided in the box?
Yes. PiCO Home can be powered through other cables via a plug. But it can only
be connected via phone using cables we provide.
Q. I am using a phone that is not supported by OTG. Can I still use PiCO
Home?
You can still power your PiCO Home with an external battery/power bank, or
with an adapter with a 1A to Type-C connection.
Q. How to connect PiCO Home to Wi-Fi after setting it up the first time?
When setting up the first time, push the power button for a minimum for 3
seconds to enter the setup mode (blue color). After setup, gently push the
power button to turn it on (white color).
Please wait a while as PiCO Home needs to analyze your Wi-Fi before it shows
up on your mobile app.
Q. How can I view/download historical data?
Our team is currently working on V2.0 of the app, which will be released later
this year. The app will have a new UI, fix more bugs, with the options to
download historical data.
Q. I have trouble registering my email or login. What should I do?
Please check your spam folder. Try again with a different email and make sure
to click the verification link we sent to your email to activate your login.
Q. Why does PiCO Home require permission to use GPS and telephone?
As per Android’s policy, we need this access in order to make sure the app
recognizes your phone to allow service.
Q. My PiCO Home blinks just once and I can’t turn it on.
Please use the cables we provide. Other cables may not be able to draw power
into PiCO Home.
Q. Can I use my PiCO Home on multiple devices? Can I use PiCO Home on
multiple networks?
Currently no. But if you use your same login details on another phone, you can
browse your PiCO Home from multiple devices. For multiple networks,
unfortunately, no. One PiCO Home per network (2.4 GHz only).
Q. Can I use PiCO Home with a Wi-Fi network that has no password?
On a public network, yes. Just leave the password section blank and log in. On
a private network, no because it has a firewall. Please use a password if
using a private network.

Warranty coverage: If the product is damaged during normal use condition
within 1 year after date of purchase, you can get free warranty service.
The conditions for warranty and the responsibility of the company are as
follow:
- The warranty is limited to the original buyer;
- You will need a copy of the receipt or some other certificate of purchase;
- A product without the serial number, date of manufacture, product label, or a product that has been dealt with roughly, installed in appropriately, changed, or fixed by a third person will not be guaranteed coverage.
- Responsibility for the product is limited to repair or replacement under the company’s sole discretion.
- Cables or other expendable accessories which are worn down overuse are excluded from the warranty.
- The company does not take responsibility for any accident or collateral damage occurring from misuse of the product.
- This product warranty grants the buyer specific rights; the buyer may be granted other rights according to region.
