Attaching or detaching the PS5 Chatpad™ with the offcial DualSense™

controller

1. To attach the PS5 Chatpad™ to the DualSense™ controller, align the headset port on the bottom of the controller with connector on the Chatpad™ and slide up until it
   clicks into place. Lower the clip into the speaker grill and press it down to click it into place.

2. If you need to detach the PS5 Chatpad™ from the DualSense™ controller, gently lift the clip out of the speak er grill and slide the Chatpad™ off the controller

Charge up the built-in Battery

How to charge up the PS5 Chatpad”s built-in battery.

• Unless it is completely out of power, the Chatpad” will blink its backlight slowly when the battery is low.
• Connect a standard USB cable with a USB-C connector end to the USB-C port on the Chatpad”.
• Connect the other end of USB charging cable to standard 5V USB socket or power adapter plug with DCSV output. DO NOT connect it to any other voltage as this may damage it.
• The Keyboard Backlight on PS5 Chatpad will light up and it will remain lit during the charging time of roughly 2-3 hours.
• You wil still be able to use the Chatpad” while it is charging.

Turning ON and pairing PS5 Chatpad™

• Power on your PS5™ controller if you have yet to do so.
• On the PS5™ console, navigate to Settings > Accessories > Bluetooth Accessories.
• Slide the Power Switch on the Chatpad™ to the ON position.
• Hold the Bluetooth Link button for about 3 seconds until the Keyboard Backlight begins flashing.
• Once it appears, select the PS5 Chatpad™ and confirm to pair the device.
• It will remember the Bluetooth pairing now, and it will automatically connect to the PS5™, each time you slide the Power Switch to

Keyboard Functions

TYPING

• To input the character/symbol printed on the button, press once on the button.
• To input the character/symbol printed on top left-hand side of the button, press either “Fn” key and the button together.
• To use the keyboard shortcuts function (e.g. Fn + C to copy, Fn + V to paste), press either Fn key and the corresponding button together.
  Note: PSVTV current frmware as of printing (V3.15) does not support “Copy n’ Paste” functions, please check future Sony Firmware updates for this support

Audio Options

The PS5 Chatpad™ provides access to the controller’s built-in microphone mute button with an overlay button.
The PS5 Chatpad™ provides a 3.5mm headset port, so that you can connect your favorite wired headset.
NOTE: You may need to increase adjust your microphone sensitivity in PS5™ settings.

Notice & Care

• Please slide to OFF status to save power when the PS5 Chatpad™ is not in use.
• When the internal battery of the PS5 Chatpad™ is under the ‘low battery status’,Power/Status Keyboard Backlight LEDs will start to blink once every 5 seconds.
• The backlight will light up every time when any button is pressed (even the backlight switch is off).

• Do not put metal objects inside the USB socket.
• Do not disassemble the device.
• PS5 Chatpad™ contains a Lithium Battery. On disposal, please follow safety precautions according to your countries laws on the handling of toxic materials.
• Do not expose the device to fire/water/microwaves(oven).
• Do not pierce the device with sharp instruments.
• If fluid is seen coming out of the device, do not touch or allow it to come into contact with the eyes, if eye contact occurs, do not rub area, rinse with water & seek medical attention immediately.
