Connections

Base unit

  1. Connect the AC adaptor to the unit by pressing the plug firmly.
  2. Connect the telephone line cord to the unit until you hear a click.
  3. Fasten the AC adaptor cord and the telephone line cord by hooking it.
  4. Connect the AC adaptor to the power outlet.
  5. Connect the telephone line cord to the single-line telephone jack (RJ11C) until you hear a click.
  6. A DSL/ADSL filter (not supplied) is required if you have a DSL/ADSL service.
  7. Connect the corded handset cord to the corded handset and the base unit until you hear a click.
    Note: Use only the supplied Panasonic AC adaptor PNLV226.

Does it have a voicemail indicator?

When you have a new message on your voicemail, the screen will say ”vm message via phone co.”

If display shows “missed call,” how do you find the telephone number of the call you missed?

The main control button with the arrows pointing up, down left right, press down where it is imprinted CID. That stands for Caller ID. The missed call number(s) will be displayed on the screen. You then have the option to erase. Usually, if a caller does not leave a voice message it will be a telephone solicitation or scammer. You should have received an instruction manual with your phone that will describe all the functions.

Does phone have call waiting function?

The call-waiting feature is provided by the telephone company. It is a feature that usually comes in a package of features that can be added to your basic line that you are plugging the Panasonic phone into. There is probably an additional cost for this or possibly it may come as a bonus to you.

Do you know if the ac adapter suitable for 220va?

This will work only with 120 V AC, 60 Hz.

How about wifi does phone work

It’s so you can find the portable phone if you forget where you left it somewhere in the house. When you push the button it makes a locator noise

What is a speed dial number?

A speed dial number is a telephone number that you can dial easily by pressing one key (e.g., 1). You can store up to 20 speed dial numbers in each handset and base unit (total 40). It is recommended that you store frequently called numbers as speed dial numbers. You can also store frequently called numbers in your directory entries or speed dial groups (see “Speed Dial Group Setup”). However, if you wish, you can also store frequently called numbers in your directory entries or speed dial groups instead of using them as speed dial numbers. If there are already 20-speed dial numbers stored, you cannot store any more until some are deleted. If there are already 40 directory entries or speed dial groups stored, you cannot store any more until some are deleted. When storing a new speed dial number, delete an existing one first if necessary (see “Speed Dial Number Delete”). To use a speed dial number, simply press its corresponding soft key on either handset or base unit (e.g., press ).

Can I assign a name other than Speed Dial Number to each speed dial number?

What is the difference between call waiting and call screening?
