Orionstar Orion Star Bluetooth Speaker
Thank you for purchasing the Model S1 Bluetooth speaker. Please read this manual carefully and keep it for future reference.
Features of the speaker:
- New Bluetooth Technology supports wireless control through a Bluetooth device

- Two 45mmspeaker drivers deliver 6W deep and rich sound
- Built-in microphone for phone calls.
- Alarm setting for FM radio and music from a USB/Micro SD card. Repeat alarm and snooze function
- Built-in white noise and nature sound to aid sleeping.
Operating Instructions
Charging
Connect the Micro-USB connector of the charging cable to the DC5V input socket
at the rear side of the speaker, and plug the USB connector of the charging
cable to an external USB power supply socket with a minimum supply current of
1A (recommended charge current is 2A). The external USB power supply can be
the USB adaptor included in the package, the USB socket in your
computer/laptop, the USB adaptor of most cell phone USB chargers with DC5V
output, or the 5V USB port of a power socket etc. When charging, the charge
indicator on the charge port will be on and it will turn off when charging is
complete.
On/Off
Slide the ON /OFF switch at the rear side to turn on/off the speaker. The
speaker will enter Time Mode after turning on.
Volume
Press and hold the“” or “” button to adjust the volume of the speaker.
Bluetooth
Press the “” button to enter Bluetooth mode, press the “” button again will
exit to Time mode.
Paring – When the speaker is in Bluetooth mode, turn on your Bluetooth device
and search for Bluetooth equipment “S1”, and then pair up with the speaker.
Bluetooth phone call – When paired to your phone, press the “ ”button to
answer incoming calls, press “”again to end the call. Hold the “” button to
reject the call. Pressing the “” button twice will call the last incoming call
number.
Note: Microphone is on top of the speaker, please talk into the
microphone when making phone calls.
Track selection
When playing music in Bluetooth mode, press the“ ”or “”button to jump to
the previous track or next track.Track selection can also be done from your
Bluetooth device.FM radio
FM radio
Press the “” button to enter FM mode. Press the “” button again will exit to
Time mode.
FM Channel Search
When in FM mode, press and hold the “” button to start automatic channel
searching. The speaker will save the channels it finds and automatically
assign channel number.
Channel Selection
After channels have been saved, press the “ ” or “”button to move to the next
or previous channel.
Delete Channel
Press and hold the “” button while the radio is playing the channel you want
to delete.
USB / Micro SD Card
The speaker supports a USB/Micro SD card. Just plug your USB Flash Drive or
Micro SD Card into the speaker’s USB port or Card slot and the speaker will
play the music files automatically.
Note: USB/Micro SD card is not supported when in FM mode. If the speaker
is in FM mode, press the “ ” or “ ” button to exit FM mode and insert the
USB/Micro SD card.
Shuffle
When playing music from a USB/Micro SD card, press and hold the “” button to
switch between shuffle and sequence playing. “-R-” on the screen means Random
play.
Setting the Time
Press and hold the “” button and the hour number will start flashing, press “” or “”to adjust the hour. Press “” again to confirm the hour setting, and the minute number will start flashing. Press “” or “” to adjust the minute. Press “” again to confirm the minute setting Pressing“” in time mode will switch between 12H and 24H display format.
Alarm

Alarm can only be set in Time mode, press “” button to enter Time mode before setting alarm.

Press and hold the “” button to start alarm setting:
- Press the“” or “” button to set the hour and press the“”button to confirm, and then press the“” or “” button to set the minute and then press the “”button to move to “repeat alarm” setting
- Press the“” button to turn on or off repeat alarm, when repeat alarm is on, the repeat symbol will be displayed on the screen.
- Press the “”button to confirm and move to alarm ring setting. Select from the 3 default rings and press“” to confirm.
Note: In Time mode, press the “”button to turn the alarm on or off. When the alarm is on, the alarm indicator will be displayed on the screen.

Setting Radio or music in USB/Micro SD as alarm: when the alarm is turned on, play the radio station or music from a USB/Micro SD which you want to set as the alarm, and press the “” button. The screen will display “-AL-”, and the radio station or music playing will be set as the alarm ring. Please note that the USB/Micro SD alarm ring setting will change to a default ring when the USB / Micro SD card is removed from the speaker.

The alarm will sound for 10 minutes, press any buttons except the “” or “”to turn off the alarm.

Snooze – When the alarm is ringing, press the“” or “” button and the alarm will ring again after 5 minutes.

To set the alarm volume, press “”to go to time mode fist and then press and hold“” or “” button to set alarm volume.
Aid sleeping
Press the “ ”button to aid sleeping sound setting. Press “ ” or “ ” button to select from the 6 default nature sounds. Press and hold“” or “” button to set the aid sleeping sound volume. If you want to stop the aid sleeping sound, please press the “”button.
Sleep Timer
When playing from Aid sleeping, FM radio, Bluetooth, USB, Micro SD card or Aux
audio cable, press and hold “”button move to shut-off time setting, and press
“” or “” button to set 30min, 45min or 60min shut-off time. And when the
screen display “CONt”,the speaker will play continuously.
Screen and display
- Press the “” button to select from the 3 brightness level of the screen.
- In time mode, press the “” button to switch between 12H and 24H time display format.
- Press the C/F button on the rear side of the speaker to switch the temperature display between Degrees Celsius and Fahrenheit.
- When speaker is switched to Bluetooth, FM radio, USB/Micro SD card or AUX, the screen will display time after 10 seconds.
- If battery is exhausted completely, the user setting will be cleared.
Reset
If the speaker is not working normally,insert the reset pink or a thin wire
into the “R” hole on the rear side to reset.

Trouble shooting
- Can’t turn the speaker on:
- Check if the battery is low. Charge the speaker and turn on again.
- Can’t charge the speaker:
- Check the power supply is working and that the output of the power supply to the charging cable is 5V and 1~2A.
- Check that thecharging cable and connectors of the cable are not damaged.
- Buttons not working
- Reset the speaker by inserting the reset pinkor a thin wire into the “R” hole on the rear side.
- No FM radio
- Check if any electronic equipment is interfering with the signal.
- Adjust the direction or position of the speaker or move to an open area for a better signal reception.
Warning:
- Do not use the product in high temperatures. Always keep the product away from fire. For your own safety, never throw the product into a fire, as this may cause an explosion and personal injury.
- Do not use the product close to high-voltage wires or electronic equipment.
- Keep the speaker away from water, and avoid using the speaker in high-humidity environments.
- Keep the speaker away from any strong magnetic fields.
- Charge the speaker regularly to avoid damage of battery result from low battery level. It’s recommended to charge the speaker from 5V 2A USB input.
Tips:
When you use it as a clock or alarm clock, please keep the speaker connected
to a charger to maintain adequate electricity.
