Product Introduction
Sveaverken MooCollar collects positioning data through GPS chip, and transmits
them to the back-end server by wireless communication. Users can view the
position and activity track of animals on the mobile APP or Web, and can also
set an electric fence on the map, so that when the cow walks out of the fence,
an alarm message will be sent to the user APP to remind the user to quickly
find the lost animals, helping reduce the the losses and management cost.
The MooCollar is provided with a large-capacity lithium battery and a solar
panel for battery charging, extending the service duration. The MooCollar is
also designed with the anti-dismantle detection function, so that an alarm
message will be sent to user APP immediately when the neck-tag is removed.
Sveaverken MooCollar Lora communication frequency band is divided into 868 MHz
and 923 MHz.

Installation
-
MooCollars are generally installed outdoors and work with a gateway, which uses a power supply of AC100-265 V or solar energy. Before using MooCollars, install the gateway on a pole or on the wall and connect it to a cloud server through 4G network, WiFi, or Ethernet. The coverage radius of a single gateway is about 1.2 km. If the grazing area is larger than the total coverage of gateways, use more gateways to fully cover the grazing area. One gateway can work with 500 MooCollars. If the herd is largerthanthat, use more gateways.
-
A MooCollar set includes a neck strap with a metal buckle, a sensor unit and a clump weight. Open the package, and take out the above components.
-
The device shall be preassembled before wearing. Put the sensor unit and the clump weight on the neck strap, and then put the entire device on the neck of animals.
First put the sensor unit on the neck strap and then the clump weight. See below for the preassembled state of device. Please note the following: -
The picture below shows the state of device on the neck of animals, with the tail of neck strap fastened by the metal buckle to form a circle. In the preassembled state, the tail of neck strap is not fastened by the metal buckle.
-
After the equipment is put on, the top of the sensor unit faces upward (convenient for solar power supply), and the clump weight faces the bottom
-
The relative position of the sensor unit and the clump weight on the neck strap should be adjusted according to the neck circumference. After the MooCollar is put on the neck of animals, fasten the neck strap. The sensor unit shall be on one side of the neck, the clump weight right below the neck, and the buckle on the other side.
-
After the neck strap is fastened, there should be space left between the neck strap and the neck of animals, otherwise it may be uncomfortable for the animals. Under serious circumstances it may even lead to injury. The space between the neckstrapand the neck should be enough to fit an adult’s fist in (about 8cm).
-
The duty cycle was not exceeded 0.1% in a period of 1 hour.
