SD/MMC jack allows you to play back digital audio files stored on SD (Secure Digital) or MMC (MultiMedia Card) flash memory cards.

USB input allows you to play back audio files stored on a USB stick.

LCD DISPLAY shows the current DSP and playback settings.
-
PLAYBACK SECTION for USB and SD/MMC offers the following playback controls:
- A. PLAY/PAUSE: Press to play, pause or search.
- B. MODE: Press to switch between USB, SD, and Bluetooth.
- C. REPEAT: Press to select between One, Random, Folder or All repeat modes.
- D. BACK: Press once to move to the previous song. Press and hold to decrease the digital volume.
- E. FORWARD: Press once to move to the next song. Press and hold to increase the digital volume. F. DSP: Press to switch between digital equalizer presets for Pop, Rock, Jazz, Classic, Country or Music.

LEVEL rotary encoder controls the final DSP volume, as well as signal levels for USB, SD, and Bluetooth. Press for bass, treble, crossover or digital equalizer adjustment. Press and hold for mute.

LINE/INST LEVEL controls the input level for the LINE/INST combo jack.

MASTER level control adjusts the final speaker volume.
-
PWR LED lights up when the audio system is connected to power and switched on.
-
CLIP LED lights up to indicate the internal limiter is responding to signal peaks.
-
TREBLE knob adjusts the level of treble frequencies for the speaker unit.
-
BASS knob adjusts the level of bass frequencies for the speaker unit.
-
OUTPUT jack sends out a copy of the LINE/INST signal over balanced cables with XLR connectors.
-
LINE/INST combo jacks accept input signals using XLR, balanced ¼ ” TRS or unbalanced ¼ ” TS connectors.

IN 2 jack accepts microphone signals over balanced cables with ¼ ” TRS connectors.
-
IN 1 jack accepts microphone signals over balanced cables with ¼ ” TRS connectors.

LEVEL 1 knob controls the input level for the IN 1 jack, as well as the wireless Bluetooth mic.

LEVEL 2 knob controls the input level for the IN 2 jack.

POWER switch turns the unit on and off.
Before turning on the audio system, all level controls must be set to minimum. Once the system is turned on, slowly increase input levels to help prevent damage to the speaker and amplifier. -
AC INPUT jack accepts the included IEC power cable.

LED POWER light turns the unit on and off.
Remote Control
- POWER button turns the unit on and off.
- MODE button switches the DSP between USB, SD, and Bluetooth.
- U/SD button switches between USB and SD/MMC for playback of audio files.
- REPEAT button activates the repeat playback mode. Press to choose between One, Random, Folder or All repeat modes.
- BACK/FORWARD/VOLUME ring controls DSP volume and back/forward between songs.
- PLAY/PAUSE button starts and stops playback of audio files.
- DSP button switches between digital equalizer presets for Pop, Rock, Jazz, Classic, Country or Music.
- MUTE button mutes the sound.
- NUMERIC KEYPAD allows you to enter values for various functions.
NOTE: The master POWER switch is located on the back of the unit and must
be switched on or off manually. The remote control does not control the master
POWER switch.
CAUTION: Do not expose the remote control’s batteries to excessive heat,
such as sunshine, fire, or similar heat sources.

Step 3: Getting started

Place the speaker in your desired location.

Set all controls as shown: TREBLE and BASS knobs to their centered position at 12 o’clock; LEVEL 1, LEVEL 2, LINE/INST LEVEL and MASTER set to their minimum levels at the full counter-clockwise position.

Make all necessary connections. DO NOT turn on the power yet.
-
Turn on your audio sources (mixer, microphones, instruments).
-
Turn on your speaker(s) by pressing the POWER switch. The PWR LED will light up.
-
Insert your USB device or SD/MMC flash memory card with digital audio files into their respective USB or SD/MMC connections.

Using the controls in the DSP section, choose a digital audio file from your USB stick or SD/MMC card and begin playback by pressing the PLAY PAUSE button.

Turn the LEVEL control up to around the 50% position.

Make overall volume adjustments using the MASTER knob.
-
Play your analog audio sources, or speak into your microphone at a normal to loud level.
-
Balance the analog signals against the digital audio playback by adjusting the LEVEL knob and the volume knobs on each analog channel. If an analog signal distorts, turn that analog channel’s volume knob back down.
If necessary, adjust the HIGH and LOW EQ knobs to boost or cut treble and bass frequencies to your taste.
