V-TAC VT-3239 UVC Lamp with Sensor

WARNING!

THE DISINFECTION LAMP EMITS UVC AND OZONE. DURING THE WORKING OF THE LAMP, HUMAN AND ANIMAL MUST GET OUT FROM THE PLACE. AVOID LOOKING DIRECTLY INTO THE LIGHT. AFTER STERILIZATION IT IS ADVISED TO VENTILATE THE PLACE FOR 20-30 MINUTES. THE LAMP EMITS OZONE, INTENSE EXPOSURE OF WHICH IS HARMFUL.

OPERATING & SAFETY INSTRUCTION

1. Read this instruction before using.

2. Check the local voltage before working.

3. Plug in the appliance under normal input voltage.

4. When the adapter is plugged in, the appliance display “OFF” indicating LED light is off.

5. The appliance default setting for sterilization time is 30mins. If you want to select sterilization time of 15min, 30 mins or 60mins, please press the switch for 5 seconds, it will switch into the setup mode. Set the time as per your requirement (15mins, 30mins, 60mins). After setting up the time, the appliance automatically switches “OFF” and restart with the set time.

6. After the lamp is switched on, the appliance will display with 10 seconds count-down before lighting. The radar sensor function will automatically start working when the lamp is ON and if any motion (human/animal) is detected within 10 meters, the lamp will turn OFF automatically and display “RD”. The lamp switches back into sterilization mode if no motion is detected for 10 seconds.

7. LED light always light up during the sterilization time.

8. The appliance will automatically be turned off by the timer after the working time which was set up previously(15mins or 30mins or 60mins), it can also be shut down by pressing switch or pull out the plug to cut off the power supply.

9. Humans and animals should not be near the lamp once it has been powered ON.

10. Avoid looking directly into the light. Avoid eye and skin exposure to unshielded product. Use only in an enclosed environment which shields users from the radiation. During sterilization, human and animal must get out from the place.
    Absorbing too much ultraviolet light can cause skin irritation and conjunctival damage

11. The lamp is with ozone which is an unstable toxic gas with a pungent odor and powerful oxidizing properties. Exposure in high levels to ozone may cause harm to humans.

12. After sterilization it is advised to ventilate the place for 20-30 minutes. The lamp emits ozone, intense exposure of which is harmful.

13. Repairs should be carried out by the manufacturer or qualified electricians ONLY. Never remove any fixed part of the appliance to make any internal adjustment. If the supply cord of the lamp or other part of appliance is damaged, the manufacturer or its service agent or similarly qualified person must replace it in order to avoid a hazard.

14. Unplug the lamp before cleaning. Make sure the to clean the lamp(tube). Any dusty or stains on the glass would affect the sterilization.
    Do not use alcohol, gasoline or chemicals to clean the appliance. Be sure to cut off the electricity when cleaning and repairing the appliance.

15. Make sure that your local voltage and frequency should be suitable for the lamp.

16. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

17. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

18. The appliance is for indoor use only. The appliance is not to be used in locations where flammable vapors or explosive dust is likely to exist. Hang or mount the appliance on a place where children can’t reach.

19. The light emitting by UVC lamp might cause aging effect. Once it is powered ON, please keep away valuable things and dark color things from lamp. Long-time lighting exposure to valuable and dark color things would cause the color to fade.

20. NON WATER-PROOF, Please DO NOT wash by using water. DO NOT place the lamp in rain.

21. During sterilization, please make sure humans and animals must get out from the place.

22. The tubes on the UVC lamp are easily replaceable.

Note: The movement detection sensor is designed to work 360 degrees and is stronger at the front side of the lamp where the sensor is placed(Next to V-TAC Logo). For optimum performance of the sensor ensure to place the sensor front facing.

Special Instructions

We suggest not to place the product on the ground directly. Please place the product 20cm above the ground level (Example: Place it on the table or a stand), otherwise the radar sensing effect will be affected.
