Congratulations on purchasing your new RCA player.
Please read these instructions for quick tips on using the player.
Getting Started

The battery should be fully charged before using your device for the first time. Use the supplied USB connector cable to connect it to your computer or other USB power source. Put the player’s OFF/ON switch in the ON position. The player should be charged for at least 4 hours before using it for the first time.
IMPORTANT: The player’s OFF/ON switch must be in the ON position for the player to charge! -
Transfer audio/video/photo/text files to the MUSIC, VIDEO, PHOTO , or EBOOK folders of the player by dragging and dropping files using Windows Explorer.
Important: The E-book reader supports .txt files only.
Note: In other operating systems, you can simply drag and drop files into the correct folder on the player. Windows is a registered trademark of Microsoft Corporation in the United States and other countries. -
In the Windows system tray, click the Safely Remove Hardware icon and select the device with the appropriate driver letter from the list of devices. Disconnect the player from the computer and enjoy
media on the go. -
Video files must be converted by an RCA AMV Converter for playback on your player. To install RCA AMV Converter, go to My Computer (XP users) /Go to Computer (Vista, 7, and 8 users) in the Start menu, find and open the drive letter associated with the player (i.e. RCA MP3) and then double-click the
RCA_AMVConverter_setup.exe file to launch the installer.
For a detailed explanation of using the RCA AMV Converter, open the RCA AMV Converter software and click the Help module on the main screen.
Note: Audio, video, photo, and text files must be transferred to their respective folders on the player to
ensure proper detection and playback.

To view the user manual directly from the player:
1. Click Start.
2. Click My Computer (XP users) / Click Computer (Vista, 7, and 8 users).
3. Find and open the drive letter associated with the player and then open
the User Manuals folder.
4. From the User Manuals folder, select the user manual in your preferred
language for more information on the player’s features, safety, and warranty
information, and answers to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs).
Keep player out of direct sunlight. Exposure to direct sunlight or extreme
heat (such as inside a parked car) may cause damage or malfunction.

General controls
Turn the player on/off| Slide the ON/OFF switch to ON to turn on the
player.
Slide the ON/OF F switch to OFF to turn off the player.

Go to the Home menu (to access Music, Video, Record, Voice, FM Radio, Photo,
Setup, E-book, and Browser)| Press and hold MENU to return to the Home
menu.
Show the Option menu| Press MENU at the playback screen.
Navigate to an audio/video/photo/text file| In the Home menu, press or to
select MUSIC, VIDEO, RECORD, VOICE, FM RADIO, PHOTO , or E-BOOK, and
then press MENU to confirm your selection. Press or navigate to the desired
file. Press MENU to confirm your selection.
Play an audio/video/photo/text file| Press.
Pause playback| Press at the playback screen, press again to resume.
Adjust the volume| Press VOL to access the volume control menu and then
press or adjust the volume. Press MENU or to exit the menu.
Skip to the next file| Press .
Skip to the previous file| Press .
Reverse or fast forward an audio file| Press and hold or during playback.
Start or pause recording| In the Home menu, press or select Record and then
press MENU to confirm your selection. In the Record mode, press to
start or pause recording. To save the recording, press and hold .
Playback a voice recording| In the Home menu, press or select Voice. In the
Voice mode press or select the desired recording, and press to begin
playback.
Reset the player (if it is not responding)| Slide the ON/OFF switch to
OFF. Slide the ON/OFF switch to ON to reset the player.
12 Month Limited Warranty
Applies to RCA Portable Media Players
Voxx Accessories Corporation (the “Company”) warrants to the original retail
purchaser of this product that should this product or any part thereof, under
normal use and conditions, be proven defective in material or workmanship
within 12 months from the date of original purchase, such defect(s) will be
repaired or replaced with the new or reconditioned product (at the Company’s
option) without charge for parts and repair labor. To obtain repair or
replacement within the terms of the warranty, the product is to be delivered
with proof of warranty coverage (e.g. dated bill of sale), specification of
defect(s), transportation prepaid, to an approved warranty station. For the
location of the nearest warranty station to you, call toll-free to our control
office: 1-800-645-4994.
This Warranty does not extend to the elimination of externally generated
static or noise, to correction of antenna problems, loss/interruptions of
broadcast or internet service, to costs incurred for installation, removal or
reinstallation of the product, to corruptions caused by computer viruses,
spyware or other malware, to loss of media, files, data or content, or to
damage to tapes, discs, removable memory devices or cards, speakers,
accessories, computers, computer peripherals, other media Players, home
networks or vehicle electrical systems. This Warranty does not apply to any
product or part thereof which, in the opinion of the Company, has suffered or
been damaged through alteration, improper installation, mishandling, misuse,
neglect, accident, or by removal or defacement of the factory serial
number/bar code label(s). THE EXTENT OF THE COMPANY’S LIABILITY UNDER THIS
WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT PROVIDED ABOVE AND, IN NO
EVENT, SHALL THE COMPANY’S LIABILITY EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID BY THE
PURCHASER FOR THE PRODUCT. this warranty is in lieu of all other express
warranties or liabilities. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED
WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF
THIS WRITTEN WARRANTY. ANY ACTION FOR BREACH OF ANY WARRANTY HEREUNDER
INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY MUST BE BROUGHT WITHIN A
PERIOD OF 24 MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF ORIGINAL PURCHASE. IN NO CASE SHALL THE
COMPANY IS LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF
THIS OR ANY OTHER WARRANTY.
No person or representative is authorized to assume for the Company any
liability other than expressed herein in connection with the sale of this
product.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or
the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damage so the above
limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This Warranty gives you
specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state
to state.
