Panasonic Eyelash Curler
Before operating this unit, please read these instructions completely.

To ensure proper operation of this appliance, please do read all the safety
precautions carefully before use.
These safety precautions are provided to instruct you with the correct and
safe operation of this appliance so that you may avoid injuries to yourself
and others as well
as damage to property. The safety precautions are defined as follows.

Replacing the battery
Change the battery when the ready mark does not change from purple to pink
within 2 minutes of switching the appliance on. (This can vary slightly
depending on the temperature of the surrounding environment.)
We recommend that you use a Panasonic alkaline dry cell battery.
- Make sure the switch is in the off position, then remove the battery cover.
- Insert one AA (LR6) alkaline battery as illustrated. (See Fig. 2)
- Reattach the battery cover. (See Fig. 3)
Listen for the clicking sound assuring you the cover has been properly attached.
How to use the eyelash curler
Use a mirror and be careful to avoid harming the eyes when using the
appliance.
Become familiar with the movement instructions before turning on the power.
Apply separately to the center, the inner corner, and the tail of the eye.
- Slide the switch up to turn the appliance on.
- Check that the ready mark starts changing from purple to pink.
- Place the iron section below the eyelashes and parallel to the eyelid. (See Fig. 4)
- Touch the eyelashes and hold the position for about 3 seconds. (See Fig. 5)
- Slowly move the iron section upward to the ends of eyelashes. (See Fig. 6)
- Lightly push the eyelashes to add a curl and hold the position for about 3 seconds. (See Fig. 7)
- After use, replace the protective cap. Align the pattern of the cap and the switch with each other. (See Fig. 8)
- If you use the appliance on eyelashes with mascara and you experience any discomfort or irritation on your eyes or eyelids, stop using the appliance.
- If the heater burns the skin, cool the skin with water.
- Consult a specialist for any problems with the eyes or eyelids during or after use.
Cleaning
Turn the switch off and clean the iron section with the cleaning brush.
If the iron section is stained with mascara, dry and remove any stains with a
brush.
